Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Lion CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Lion are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Another big hard rocking release. I love the riffs and the passion these guys played with. 'Victim of circumstance' and the awesome 'Love is a lie' are highlights, but it's all very good stuff. I always thought Kal Swan's vocals sounded very strained, but always appreciated them as you know he meant what he was singing. |

Wow, I actually prefer this CD over their other two CDs. Most of these songs made their other two albums but have a harder sound on this CD. |

A real gutsy Hard Rock master piece. There were 2 negative points that this release had.One was : only 6 songs. The other was : it was released only in Japan. But this release brought them a chance to get dealt with MCA-USA but by unknown reason(I can imagine its reason easily though),MCA skipped it,and later on Scotti Bros did(but did nothing,as always). If they were based some other area(such as in New York for instance),they may have a brighter future.I may say "L.A.kills the band". |

How nice this album is honestly...Kal's voice is just amazing without any doubts..this mini album brings us excellent material from a band that deserved more in the music bizz..."Power Love" kicks heads inmediately it starts,"Stranger In The City" is Thin Lizzy influenced,"Victim Of Circumstance" is a solid number,"Love Is A Lie" is my personal fave and "Forgotten Sons" is another piece of solid rock!...Doug Aldrich,Mark Edwards and so on..a great team of musicians 4 sure!.90/100 |
