JEALOUSY was the last time Loudness recorded with original vocalist Minoru Niihara until their reunion in the early 00s. The first three tracks are slick, commercial metal ala the previous studio album HURRICANE EYES (I wouldn't be surprised if they were outtakes from that album) and the last three are a bit rawer and heavier. JEALOUSY was a Japan-only release back in 88, but it's since been reissued in the USA on a 2-for-1 combo CD with the SLAP IN THE FACE EP (featuring Michael Vescera on vox)

The cover says it all. This is the "2 sides of a coin" album with both catchier and heavier songs on each side.

Very Good Ep by Loudness...Fat Freddy is spot on here ...my faves are "Long Distance Love"(AORish),"Die Of Hunger"(rocks!) & "Dreamer And Screamer"(rocks!)...85/100

Long Distance off of On The Prowl with MV on vox is far supirior then this version sung in Japanese, I think that the 1st few songs on this are either songs recorded for a follow up to Hurricane Eyes that was never followed through with, or songs left off of HE, either way, good album, pick it up.
