| if Sgt Roxx or Hard Knox/psycos r us are your cup of tea you are gonna love these guys...thses guys are real sleazy and have alot of attitude......also day by day is a well written kick ass tune

| Was wondering... is this the same band from Long Island NY ? they were around in the early 90's. Anyone have any info ? I have this but I never listened to it till now, so I don't know. Anyhow, I remember the guitarist worked over night at a gas station and practiced then .

| These guys play a sleazy brand of hard rock that is vocalist-oriented 80's hair metal with some elements of AOR, but much rougher. You'll get some good gang style background vocals and just the nice touch of sleaze to make the whole affair enjoyable. For fans of SGT ROXX, LILLIAN AXE and WARRANT.

| Picked up this CD up Recently off EBAY ...Good dose of sleazy / Glam Metal...Delbert described it pretty well in the above comments...so i need to say no more....just that im happy to finally be an owner off this Cd...

Interesting album with good songs...Delbert's comment is very accurate...best tracks IMO are "Down For The Count" is a kick a** track,brutal!,"Day By Day"  ,"Coming At You" excellent,"Cold As Winter" a highlight & "Love's An Injection" ...86/100

| The origins of TRASH CAN BABY are sketchy at best, but there is some limited information out there. The act formed out of the Long Island (North Massapequa) area of New York around 1988 with an original lineup featuring “Paul Terror” (v/harp) (1988-95), Abe Hopper (b) (RIP)(1988-92), John Dayte (g) (1988-92), Carlo Scandaleotto (g) (1988-89), and “Dave Damage” (d)(1988-89). There would be some demoed tracks recorded with this lineup although only one LP has been released to date (2017). The band claims to have 3 releases in their discography, and I’m assuming the other 2 would be Demos, as there’s no available information about them. Tim Hoyt (g) (1989-94) and Neil “The Dooper” Esposito (d) (1989-95) would replace both Carlo and Dave respectively. Mike Pope (g/piano) (1990-94) would also eventually take over for Tim Hoyt(g) with Duane Lozzotta (b) (1992-95) replacing the late Abe Hopper. | recording of their eponymous LP in 1993 (original CD copies fetching bigger bucks nowadays). They’ve been described by many as having a sleazy Melodic Rock style with comparisons made to acts like WARRANT and SGT. ROXX although I hear nothing resembling those acts. My ears heard a Melodic Rock/Metal act with a heavier NWOBHM flair and some American Melodic Rock tendencies thrown in. Bands that come to mind would be Nicky Moore-era SAMSON, ROGUE MALE, the heavier aspects of DEMON, and Norway’s HARDLINE. The vocals were comparable to Nicky Moore, Dave Hill,Borge Pederson, and Allan Fryer with some lesser influences of HEAVEN (AUS), GREAT WHITE, or even AC/DC. The name of the band did nothing to represent their sound, and might have also hurt their cause (the Sleeze / Glam vibes coming to mind with a band name like that). The music was generally powerful and energy wasn’t lacking. They apparently had a decent following, and have likely reunited on more than one occasion during that last 2

| 20 years. There was also talk about releasing another LP, but the status on that project (or lineup which may have been involved) is unknown. Two other guitarists (“Kal” and Marchello Deoblo) were also involved with the act shortly before their original split around 1995. maybe some of the members could provide some more info. here
