You wanna know how much I like this album? The first time I heard it I had to change my pants, that's how much I liked it. -Beth

I read all these top reviews on this album and then went out and bought it, and didn't think it was anything special when I first listened to it, but after a few more spins I fell in love with it!, HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

From: Tony Date: April 11, 2002 at 7:28
Great album and if the average Ebay price really is 5 something than what a joke and pick up this cd as soon as you can. What a great band and listen to this album now in 2002 and tell me it doesn't hold up. One of those undiscovered gems you'll be glad you found. These guys should have been huge.

High Octane go for the throut brand of Blues-Drenched Hard Rock. Blues and the roots of early rock are soaked into this F'ing CD. 'Guilty' is a bit of Aero-Sleaze, 'Beatles' Melody and 'Sex Pistols' Aggression and more than ever, the Blues! This band is a 'Say what you mean and mean what you say' dose of 1000SDA Justice!!! 'We Don't See God' runs Rampant on this CD!!! This is The Shit!!!

This album made me listen to WSOU like it was going out of style. AWESOME!

I want to know, what bands do this band sounds like? I getting really interested?

From: sylvain Date: April 16, 2003 at 17:13
very good surprise, more rock than hard with an excellent guitar player and a creative bass player. Tracks 7&8 are wonderful and the last song is fun.

From: Jason Date: May 24, 2003 at 7:30
I used to go and see these guys at 'Studio 1' in Newark, NJ. They would play once or twice a month - rocked the house. Really great live back in the day, and 'Guilty of Innocence' is an awesome CD still.

Appallingly bad. Avoid.

From: orangeblossom Date: June 1, 2003 at 2:40
I used to date Shane - he's a very talented singer. The band was awesome (and this is not a groupie perspective!) They didn't sound like any band I've ever heard. I highly recommend.

Finally got a hold of this CD. And what can I say?, the very first comment is overrated. The first two songs are great, though.

Yeah, I remember when this was (over)played on WSOU. It's not that it's bad, it just doesn't live up to the hype. IMHO I also think many people mistake a loud guitar in the mix as good guitar, which just is not the case here. I think the second one is better, better songs and not as many loud, sloppy guitar solos. For me the standout is the cover of Needle and the Spoon, but the balance is just okay. Not bad if you find it in the budget bin, put don't pay a lot for it.

Oops, that should have been 'but' don't pay a lot for it...

From: Nelson Date: February 4, 2004 at 20:00
Got this CD with the front insert all sticky with who-knows-what-else in it. That means nothing to me as long as the CD itself plays but I really would like to have a decent insert which I can see the whole picture. Anyone can help? Email me at nelson@fairwarning.com.

I remember seeing the video for 'We Don't See God' on MTV's Headbangers Ball back in 1990. Fortunately, I still have that video on my VHS tape in good condition. I loved that video and Sean Carmody was playing the Rickenbacker 4003 bass. In 1990, Law And Order were going to tour with Mother Love Bone. However, the singer of Mother Love Bone died of a heorin overdose in the spring of 1990. Mother Love Bone was pre-Pearl Jam. Law And Order rocked! Their CD's should have been reissued.

I used to setup their equipment. They played Lamour's in Brooklyn two times a month. Studio One in Jersey. We were in the music video they did at CBGB's in the city. Shane does studio production these days. Sean is doing HTML. Not sure about Phil. Where'd Crazy Rob go? That guy used to pound the skins. Great bunch of guys.

When I saw the video (can't remember exact title)...See God something. I loved that song and the rest was good and fairly enjoyable but not much else is memorable.

Loved these guys back in the day...can't find their cd anywhere. I want to see if it stills holds up.

From: Lennie Date: March 25, 2005 at 13:29
This is solid hard rock release with a grungy/southern feel to some tracks and some good use of acoustic. I used to really dig this years back, but this is another dusty/old one....! 'No love lost' and 'Downtown Suicide' are the absolute stand out moments. Some of the songs have a real emotion to them which is rare on an album like this. Good stuff.

From: speed demon Date: March 27, 2006 at 16:07
The best thing about this cd was the day I pawned it off. Just not my cup of tea! Not a hard rock cd in my opinion! I honestly gotta say AVOID this one rockers!

From: WASP1 Date: June 26, 2006 at 18:55
I got this for $1.99 in the bargain bi a month or ago. It's decent, but nothing outstanding. I doubt that I will be listening to it again anytime soon.
