Great album of its time. Passionate, punky and with its foot on the gas pedal from chord one. Would blow the darkness out of the water.

I remember Ian Hunter from years back and even stayed at his house once. We used to go to some dingy club that sold a drink called a pangalacticgargleblaster-many pissed nights. Rich Rags wern't bad but were not really that good either.

bought this when i was 14. still sounds good now. Love the vocals and guitar espec'. too punky to be true glam but all the better for that.

Rich rags were by far one of, if not the best live act and hardest working touring band the UK ever saw. I think they spent the best part of 8 years solidly touring the UK slum circuit. I saw them many a time and the fact that they couldn't get a record deal for years inspired me to become an A/R representative and band manager today. It was a crying shame because the UK had an answer back to LA's Fatsre Pussycat and LA Guns, with a Clash styled glam punk fusion fuelled with Cheap Trick style ho

-hooks. OK, so at times they could be a bit 'Phoenix Nights' as they were all working class northern lads with mispent youth's at the local working mens clubs or bingo halls, but that added the fire to the band that could cut down any heckler with a rusty but pink-coloured chainsaw! Buy this record as it is an essential account of the time. I only wish there was a band around now equally as good as I would snap them up!.

Was Mr.Hunter 54 years old at that time? Really? If yes,I am gonna start jogging in 10 seconds.
