totaly worth getting!!!

From: BPG Date: February 12, 2002 at 8:53
Love Matts' vocals, cd is average though, the pace is too slow, becomes like a clock, It varies a bit toward the end which really helps this disc out.

From: David Date: February 22, 2002 at 22:31
The best thing about this band and album is the guitarist Myke Grey, I don't know much about him but I know that he is an under-rated guitarist! It's true what BPG said, it's just a bit slow for me, alot of power ballads and not many rockers, It's still a cool CD!

A bit under-stated, like a drowsier version of the Stage Dolls. Still worth looking into, if for nothing other than the excellent title track and "Out in the Cold".

From: Gar Date: August 10, 2002 at 3:03
This seems like an albums worth of Whitesnake style ballads. Not bad, but it could use more variety. The title track is definitely the highlight.

A very very nice rock album featuring Bam Bam Boy Matti Alfonzetti singing his best and an exceptional guitar player in the face of Myke Gray. You'll love "You Don't Love Me","Fuel for your Soul" alonside "Liar","Out in the Cold","Sweet Lorraine". No weak tracks, it is a must have if you like Stage Dolls.

This is a good album with a better production than the debut but it seemed to lose the energy of that release. Alot of the songs have a similar feel to them although none of them are poor. Nice vocals and great playing but got lost in the mix at the peak of melodic rocks popularity. Just not memorable enough but good. 7/10

This is one of my favourite cds whereby I don't have to press the skip button.Stand out tracks are out in the cold, hell ain't a long way, loving you too long, liar, you don't love me,money talking, all thru the night and the excellent dark closing track burnin' up.I'd like to see MYKE and ANDY reforming this band.A brilliant band and this cd is highly recommended.

yeah I bought the album it was auful, no wonder british music is going down the drain, We just havent got what the americans have.

From: WhiteLion Date: November 8, 2004 at 16:06
Like this one , Good music and I'm tired of earing about the production, not all band start with #1 studio record deal. Just enjoy the music or wait till bands get at the top Chart. Listen to Motley Crue st and new tattoo what a diference hey ? New Tattoo is so perfect that everyone could play guitars without missing a note.

Correction Too Fast For Love cd not ST sorry for the mistake. Been awhile since I've listen to that haha

I have to admit that a lot of the songs on this album went in one ear and out the other. But there were some cool tunes that stood out. "Liar," "Law of the Land", "Loving You Too Long " (ballad), and "Burnin' Up" justified the purchase for me. I can recommend this one without reservations, but it is not essential.

"Fuel for your Soul" "Loving You Too Long" (temazo!) y "Money Talking" tambien recomendadísimas. Gran disco. 8.8/10

A friend just recently turned me on to this awsome band. This really killer stuff. Vintage 80's sound. They should have been huge and all over La's sunset strip. How the hell this one got in under my radar I'll never know. 8 out of 10. Very recomended!!!

From: shark attack Date: July 27, 2007 at 12:13
Well it sounds American(half the battle with hair metal)but its actually British,as for the songs well they leave something to be desired....with nothing really sticking in your head, best described as ear candy this is pleasant and won`t scare the neighbors but really I expected more... disappointing 6/10

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: November 12, 2007 at 22:11
Out In The Cold lo mejor del disco, claro para mi gusto personal me encanta el buen toque que le mete a este tema es diferente, con ese sonido peculiar a los 90's pero que cuando lo sigues y sigues escuchando pues vas eschando a lo que yo catalogo como el mejor del DISCO, el reto de temas en su toque Hard Rock'n'roll pero no olvido "Fuel For Your Soul" & "Loving You Too Long" dos temas al mismo Nivel identicos, baladas para llenarte de nostalgia y melancolia, todo un buen Album

From: ferstyx Date: January 23, 2008 at 18:51
Que pocos comentarios. Matti Alfonzetti simplemente genial. Out in the Cold, Loving You Too, You Don't Love Me, entre mis favoritas. Recomendado.

i see mixed reviews here, but i have to say this is really good. had it on casette, then cd. matt's vocals are great. alot of the songs are mid-tempo,but i think this is great.

From: bmoreorioles Date: September 13, 2008 at 16:22
I can't believe I never heard of this group before now. I am absolutely in love with the lead singer's voice. I guess from my point of view as a female, the man just sounds so sexy. And, he has tremendous vocal ability. He doesn't strain or try too hard. The best song for me is "Fuel for your Soul"-esp. love the words. I would love to hear his voice on other songs from other bands-I bet they would sound tons better. For example, have him sing some of Arcade's songs like "Cry No More".

From: WookieEnthal Date: July 10, 2009 at 4:54
What a great band! I remember listening to an internet radio station at work and Out In The Cold came on and I stopped what I was doing to see what wonderful noise that was eminating from my speakers. Needless to say I did a little research and next thing you know the disc is in my mailbox! Buy it!

From: shoemaker Date: April 22, 2010 at 10:07
The first three tracks are brilliant. After that we have some ups and downs. All in all a good melodicrock album.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 2, 2011 at 20:58
Great debut by Matti Alfonzetti & C.o. ...plenty of solid hard rocking numbers with some AORish ones too being these "Out In The Cold","Fuel For Your Soul" & "Loving You Too Long"...another interesting songs are the opener "Liar","You Don't Love Me","Smooth Operator" ,"Sweet Lorraine" perhaps is the best song in here or at least is my fave one,"All Thru The Night" can be in any Thunder album, quite a good shot & "Burnin' Up" closes the album pretty excellent...for the people who like Giant,Thunder and Whitesnake this could be an option...92/100

Liar!!!

From: 123charpenay Date: December 30, 2013 at 13:05
this record is far better than their ep.a superb album who have something special.the rhytmn, the groove of the drums and the bass is irresistible.only great songs no fillers at the horizon.the sound of this record is polished and very clear.excellent production.unfortunatelly no bonus tracks on the japan import.

From: Wardy Date: February 15, 2014 at 7:17
Unfairly criticized, sure it doesn't get up & go enough but this was a nice departure from what was happening stateside & had more in common with the likes of Lou Gramm and co. Songs such as Law Of The Land & All Thru The Night provided enough heavy but whether intentionally or not, thankfully Fuel For Your Soul steered well clear of the party going on across the waters. With Liar Hell Ain't A Long Way and the swinging fun of Smooth Operator with its Roth-like story telling (think also that first Lynch Mob record) Jagged Edge provided a somewhat safe but classy collection of songs which were sadly overlooked for the mostpart. The quality of song was there though, the beautiful Loving You Too Long & its wonderful vocal is essential balladry & there's very little not to like. Dunno what came first, Sweet Lorraine or Thunder's Back Street Symphony but that little wink aside one could do far worse than to treat themselves to this record. EXCELLENT vocals great songs Rating (a solid) 7

I wanted more albums from this band.
