Good but not great. Mickey Thomas sings great as always, the production is over the top, and Surrender is one of the best songs of the year (of course Neal Schon is involved). But we have a couple of fillers here, and the album canīt touch me the way I wish. Worth a carefull listen anyway. 7/10.

I've just never warmed to this. Is the same with Perfect World and From the Inside, there just seems something missing. They also (am gonna sound like someone else here) sound very modern, and I disagree with MelodicMan about the production. Sounds like it was all recorded on a 6-track in Grossi's bedroom, and it really needs keyboards and some bigger harmonies. "Turn Away" and "The Man Inbetween" are the best tracks, but generally this hasn't been a regular on my CD deck... 6/10.

I totally agree with Freaky on this.But I also think Over The Edge and Surrender are cracking tracks.

Vertigo was better as songs and vocals. Production is a little better than other Grossi's production that is a little above average. Anyway I like this cd and the songs taken from Martin Stenmarck's solo album (a nice light modern rock artist)

Not bad, starts well, buts dies off half way through. Compared to the Stan Bush - Shine and Vertigo releases, this comes in a lowly third place. Alot better stuff to spend the hard earned cash on.

Bought this after reading rave reviews and have to say i was a little disappointed. It sounds to me like Mickey is singing songs that are slightly outside his vocal range. Don't get me wrong there is still alot a quality on this album (Best Songs - One World,Surrender,Turn Away)but you do get the feeling it is just the left over tracks from other projects. 7/10

the voice is back, one of the all time great voices ever. A great album!. Mickey is back and hope to hear way more in the future, in short, the whole album is a welcomed surprise!!! Top 5 of 04!!! This was a great year for us AOR fans!!!

I must actually admit I do not know who this vocalist is. I know it's someone glaringly well known in the genre, but I get the feeling it may be more on the AOR side of things thus me not knowing. Either way, this is a great CD. I love it. Not as good as Shadows Fade or From the Inside, but better than Perfect World. Great CD with killer songs. I love most of them!

Geoff!!! the singer is Mickey Thomas form Jefferson Starship, he came in the band in 1979 with several great albums, some good hard rock aor, then the name change to just Starship and the music was a bit softer, still good stuff!!! Mickey is also the voice on the song Fooled around and fell in love in the 70's by the Elvin Bishop Group. One of the all time best rock voices

Thanks Switer. Though I must admit I come into hard rok around 1984 and go earlier than that only on few occasions eg. Dokken, Ratt and a couple of others. I've never heard Jefferson Starship or Starship (Not 'We built this city' guys is it??? Am I confused now?). Thanks for the info mate, and yeah, got to admit I really like his voice... even if I don't know who he is

again, great one!!! I just caught all the musicians on this one, wow, did not know so many greats were on this one!!! Neal Schon, Kotzen, Lukather, Vanni and Grossi, is Grossi on everything good in the past year??? Great cd that brings back some great moments of melodic rock!!!

reading all these diverse posts i decided to buy this one and check it by myself. imo this one is a major disappointment. canīt agree that here can be found some melodic killer tracks. i didnīt found a single one! the songs arenīt remarkable, as soon as youīve heard them youīve forgotten them. no big chorusses, no catchy melodies. sorry guys, big names donīt always stand for big songs. this one for sure is not a must! 6,5/10

seems like Rod Rock didn'twrite anything like ''truly boring'' shoemaker...And I don't even speak spanish. But the words recomedable, voz esquisita, excelnte produccion, ideal para relajarse seem to translate to reccomendable, great vocals, excellent production, ideal for relaxing...On topic...sounds nice but after all it might be a little boring actually, haha! Worth bying for a low price but don't expect anything mindblowing. 7/10

with the name on this cd s we could hope a better result (mickey thomas fred curci jack blades neal schon ...).nevertheless it is a very great aor album.2 fillers (tracks 7 and 10) (11 for the japan import).rest 8 super aor songs.for one time with frontiers records the production is perfect powerful and clear.

this is a a very nice collection of songs by mickey thomas and many good musicians like neal schon,ritchie kotzen and robert vanni.the production is crystal clear,the songwriting excellent and the performance very persisting.my favs are"turn away","over the edge" and "surrender".i mwaiting the next step

This is really a pleasant album!!!...it combines good semi rocking/pop tunes with AOR feel ones as well and with the great and talented Mickey Thomas of Starship fame leading the ship...tracks 1,2(nice AOR)3,4,7,8,9( ) & 10 are directly in my book...the whole album is pretty worth the buy...87/100

OK album bur I'm I the only one that the vocals are out of key ever so often? Works fine in the slower songs but when he pushes it, no.
