Probably one of the best metal albums ever. All the groove, catchy hooks - absolutely brilliant!

Electric Boy's have that kool 60's groove mixed with 80's and 90's hard rock. Great driving music.

Just to add another line... The Electric Boys did another cd after this one called Freewheelin'. There's a great remake of Ram Jam's Black Betty on it. It's hard to find though.

T-BONE and Kim, I finally found Freewheelin' on Ebay. I'm going for the kill. I'm sure it'll be great.

The cover of Black Betty alone is worth the price. I got the song off the internet, but i'd also like to find an original cd.

I've got the song Black Betty off of Audiogalaxy, but the seller I purchased the Freewheelin' cd said that song isn't on there. Is it on a Japanese pressing or something?

Yeah, I won Freewheelin' off of Ebay. The seller is in the U.K. so it might take a while to reach me. I'd sure like to find what album the Black Betty song is on.

I'm pretty sure that "Black Betty" was only included on the Swedish release. You might try going to Connie Bloom's site and e-mailing him. He's pretty good about responding. He's also in a new band SilverGinger5. "Black Leather Mojo" was one of my favorite CD's of last year, though it's hard to find. Lot's of big guitars, big hooks and great choruses.

Great music! A bit harder than the first album. If you insist on the first one, "Bed Of Roses" is for you. The instrumental "March Of The Spirits" is very lovely. I'm happy to have this record and I hope I'll be happier to hear "Freewheelin".

Finally got "Freewheelin". It's also successful but this album sounds the real style of the band together with Funk-O-Metal...

I thought the first album was a little dull, but I found this for a buck so I picked it up. Surprisingly, it's really good! Some great funky rockers, and awesome ballads, especially Bed of Roses.

Got to agree with the blunt, but pretty true, IMO opinion above. I loke the ballad 'Dyin to be loved', but that's it. Pretty damn poor and boring album from what I heard.

I've had this album for years. In fact, it was sitting in the closet amongst a pile of junk for the last 5, at least until yesterday. I guess if I could stand the horrible "come over here baby" tongue in cheek lyrics on nearly every song this would be a little better. As it is, it is hard to even get through the first go around of the title track's chorus. So horrible, so cheesy. I love my 80s style hard rock but really can't stomach the crap on this album.

Sí, Funky Bluesy HRock Sleazy bien fiestero, no está mal aunque no es mucha mi alegría sobre este disco. "Dying to Be Loved" es la única balada, la mejor de lejos y muy bien lograda. 7.5/10

If you like your metal fried in funk, grilled in groove, and swathed in swagger, then you'll get a real charge out of this CD, which is at least on par with the debut and arguably even better. These boys didn't mess with their formula much on this album, sticking with the big guitars, big grooves, and big hooks that served them well the first time around, apparently disciples of the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" school of thought. The marriage of hard rock and funk is perfected on this release, which will have you scratching your head in bewilderment like a monkey picking lice that this band languished in relative obscurity while a similar-but-subpar group like Extreme galloped up the charts. This CD delivers on all fronts: maximum groove, maximum metal, maximum fun.

Well....it is different, hence the split reaction among all the commenters. The band played blues influenced hard rock and the music took a more heavy yet funky turn on this album over their previous efforts. They had a hit on this release with the Beatles sounding "Mary In The Mystery World" track.
