| I really didn't care for the harder sound by these guys. Sure, they sound great but I prefer their other albums.

| Tim I dont aggree. This a superb album, no weak songs, and a great production. Should have been a massive hit by them. By the way, its NOT that hard is it.??

| I usually hate bands that mix funk with hard rock, but ELECTRIC BOYS do it so well that you almost find yourself becoming a fan against your will. "Freewheelin'," their 3rd and final (to date) album beefs the guitars up just a bit more than their first 2 CDs, but it's still the tried-n-true ELECTRIC BOYS formula, which means big guitars, lots of grooves & hooks, some darn catchy choruses, and big backing vocals. Definitely the best out of their trilogy of releases.

| Kim, you're right about the production and no weak songs. However, I didn't think any songs were spectacular. I don't think production should account for how good a band is. Sure it's a bonus, but if the band sucks- no amount of production will help. I don't think these guys suck at all, but I don't think this album is as fun to listen to. I'll listen to it again though and see if I think differently.

| I didn't mean harder as in heavy, just a tad more aggressive than their previous albums. The other albums weren't as consistant, but they did have songs I listen to over and over. Like I said earlier, I'll give them another spin.

| I listened to this again and I feel the same. I love the guitars. Even though I like Bloom's voice, it seemed tainted by alternative in places. It's like they tried too hard in places and forgot to enjoy themselves. I didn't say it was bad, I just find that I liked some songs off of their previous albums better. Like M. Allen said, the guitars are great on this one. I have their promo videos and live performances for "Funk O..." and I like watching the axeman in action.

| Well I thing the reason I like it a lot, is that it was my first Electric Boys cd. If I had bought one of the others first, that would have been the one I liked best. But Damn this band plays good.

| I have this CD eventually. As a man who absolutely dig this band, at first listen I was really confused because of some alternative influence and lack of the melody patterns of their previous albums. But it's normal when I think it was a product of the year 1994. However after a few listen, it became really digested and pretty. Conny sings by heart and the guitar and drums sound really great here. And in fact every song has a quality in itself which is necessary for a huge album.

| So I can say that this album is significant as their former two. Conny really knows his job so that the other members. One more thing I've to state here is that the album cover and logo is one of the best cool band photo covers and logo I've ever seen. Overall it's a pitty that Electric Boys dissolved after their three great products. This band deserved much longer career.

| Altay, Great Dane or Kristian might be able to find it (I assume you mean cd). Might look on Gemm.com. I got my live video off of Ebay I think and not sure who it was from.

| They saved the best for last. By far Electric Boys' crowing achievment. It's a shame that 'Some Kind of Voodoo', 'Black Betty' and one other are not listed here-they are very strong tracks, and on the version I own. A killer album, all the way through. I don't like the slow ones on here much, but the hard rockers far outweigh them and everyone should try to find this cd. My absolute favorite from them and makes top 10 of all time. A TEN.

| Fans of Conny and Electric Boys should check out Conny's one release with short-lived band 'Titanic Truth'. It has more good stuff (everything Conny touches is gold anyway!)--'Spinning Wheel', 'Shes So inventive' and 'good time coming' are standouts on it. Of course he sings on it and plays guitar. A rarity, but try to find it!

| This is definitely their best release. If you're into hard catchy hard rock with the guitars front and center then this is for you.

| Excellent mid-tempo hard rock very influenced by 70's(it's evident also from their look???).I don't like 70's hard rock but this cd sounds good to me!Explosive sounds,great production,I think it's their best(agree with 7Sinner)but I want to hear again also the first 2....8.5/10!

| There's a wacked out version on eBay. It's got six bonus tracks: Some Kind of Voodoo, Freewheelin', Mountains and Sunsets, Messin' With Voodoo, Groover, and Down at the Bottom. I love the album without bonus tracks, and this has caught my curiosity enough, I might just buy this one. Anyone else seen this version?

| excellent release once again for the ELECTRIC BOYS with lots of groove ,fine songwriting ,massive production and remarkable musicianship!mastermind Conny is in great shape and that shows for a band that kept the interest for me back in 94!"ready to believe","straight no chaser","my knuckles your face" are the def highlights
