If you notice that a particular Dirty Looks CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. This is the only Dirty Looks album that I don't have. I have never heard any of the songs off this one. I really like this band and I have to think that this is another great album.

From: Blue Tequila Date: August 18, 2002 at 1:38
For anyone thats interested, Perris Records a limited amount of the following D.L. albums: "Turn of the Screw", "Rip it out", "Bootlegs", "Chewing on the Bit" and "One Bad Leg". Pretty Sweet!http://www.perrisrecords.com/

From: Kevin Date: September 18, 2002 at 14:32
I have the 'slave to the Machine' album...Does anyone else have it, and if so, is yours without any album credits, too? Who are the players other than Henrik? Also, does your CD sound more and more muffled the further you get to the end? Any info would be great! thx

From: Steve T Date: September 18, 2002 at 16:23
Kevin, I have STTM and mine has zero in the way of credits too. Can't remember about the sound either...I'll let you know when I listen to it again.

From: Great Dane Date: March 17, 2003 at 5:27
Jazon. This is the only cd I have by Dirty Looks. Its good. Not fantastic, but good. Some of it sounds a bit like AC/DC. How are the others. Which one do you recommend.??

From: PauloFernandes Date: March 17, 2003 at 19:40
GreatDane - get the Five Easy Pieces album, probably their best

From: Blue Tequila Date: March 18, 2003 at 0:35
Great Dane--Cool From the Wire was their most popular album so you'd probably like that one. My personal favorite is Turn Of The Screw followed closely by Five Easy Pieces.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: March 18, 2003 at 0:51
G.Pain, Here is what I can say... If you are into more of the 80's hair music than you need to get 'Cool From The Wire' of 'Turn Of The Screw'. If you tend to like a heavier sond than I suggest 'Chewing On The Bit'. And for something right in between, you should check out 'Five Easy Pieces'. As far as my favorite.... ouch!... That's a tough one.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: March 18, 2003 at 0:55
What the fuck!! Someone slap me!....... What I mean is 'Cool From The Wire' OR! 'Turn Of The Screw'. AND!! If you like a heavier SOUND!!! Good God!.......

From: Great Dane Date: March 18, 2003 at 8:10
Thanks Paulo, Blue Teq and >Jazzon. I'll check them out. I just gave Rip It Out another try. Its actually good. Just found out that I own Bootlegs too. Its very different tham Rip It Out. Not so heavy, but very good. The track In Black'N White is awesome. Thanks for the info.

God Damn it G. Pain! That's the only CD of Dirty Looks that I don't have! Piss me off! I want that Son-Of-A-Bitch!

From: T-Bone Date: April 15, 2003 at 3:25

From: SMEDLEY Date: April 15, 2003 at 4:06
Jason I cant belive you havent fully grasped this wonderful disc from Dirty Looks. A staple for any HArdcore ACDC fan, if you dont have this cd, than your not a true rock fan , Dirty Looks fan or even an ACDC fan! grab it now before its too late!! Great guitars, and melodies, drums are killer and the whole vibe is awesome.

From: Great Dane Date: April 15, 2003 at 7:51

such an underrated group. why hadn't more people latched on? crazy.

From: zakrocz Date: June 29, 2003 at 17:53
Well I ain't got this album yet, but it's great to see that people are still talking about this band in 2003.

From: T-Bone Date: June 29, 2003 at 19:10
Just like AC/DC, they seem to have stood the test of time.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: June 29, 2003 at 20:12
T-Bone, do you have any idea what you are talking about? "stood the test of time?" Dirty Looks broke up years ago. They were a great band, and unbelieveably made 7 albums, but they did not stand the test of time. AC/DC has been with us for 30 years, and although Dirty Looks sounded like AC/DC on their first couple of albums, they are Noooooooo AC/DC! What do ya think of that?

From: T-Bone Date: June 29, 2003 at 23:40
What I was referring to was that their songs still sound fresh to me, even if they were done back in the 80;s to early 90's.

From: Metal Pete Date: January 2, 2004 at 13:11
A heavy slab! Pick it up if you can find it. This one is strong, full of good writing and playing. This one is within the top 4 releases from Dirty Looks, in my opinion. Outstanding 'rare' metal

From: KickYourFace Date: October 23, 2004 at 18:39
FYI: Released 1995, not 1996.....

From: Geoff Date: March 4, 2005 at 17:57
Another good one, and probably better than 'Chewing on the bit', but again I must say I don't think it compares favourably to earlier releases. Still, good stuff though and they were always consistent. Heavier too.
