A very good and promising start for this young Finnish act. Of course they don't reach yet the level of the american or canadian AOR acts, but this is more than a good start ! All AOR fans should check out this new AOR act, with melodic hardrock influences.

I totally agree!!! I was simply blown away here!

From: TIM (2) Date: July 26, 2004 at 4:00
Agree with the above, very high quality here. The production is surprisingly good, and the overall song quality is really up there with the Alien's of this world (as in the band, not the creatures from space...) If you love AOR on the slightly heavier side but drowning with keys you'll love this. Probably fans of early Bonfire and Fair Warning will warm to this the most... 8/10.

Above average release with a great production, although i wouldn't go so far as to say they are up with the classic Scandie bands of yesteryear. Good none the less.

Yet again I got a cd for a steal, and this is quality Hard edged A.O.R.dripping with keyboards but not swamping the songs.Good production helps and gives the listener a polished album.Satisfying !!!!!

This is my favorite album from 2005 with some other great acts, this is a gem for AOR and Hard Rock lovers, can't believe that they are from Finland! I'm from Finland myself so I'm kinda proud of them, their new album is set to be released by summer if I remember right.

A great surprise to me,great release from Finland and one of my faves heard recently.I am happy to say that he’s a good singer and they know how to play. Not a single filler here, good guitar work and rhythmic session too, wonderful choruses.I’ll put”spirit of freedom”in my personal compilation of the best songs in the last 10 years.9/10.

Aor ala 2000!!!.Great songs and compositions.Best decision if you buy it.8/10.

From: BIG-TIME Date: February 17, 2007 at 13:01
Very overrated act, yes the first song is very good but personally the production is flat and modern sounding. The singer has a one dimensional voice and starts to grind after about 4 song's the key's I do like guitar's are good and it does have it's moment's with bridges and solo's but not one to rave about like the above comment's. Stick with Brother Firetribe or Wicked Sensation (2001-2004)...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: aTomiK Date: February 18, 2008 at 14:30
Excellent stuff! I´m a bit late with this release but better late than never. Great choruses and very good songs overall. 92/100

After another listening i'd say that is still a pleasant album...a band that so far has released 2 albums(the other one is named "Desolation" in 2006)...my favorites are "Spirit Of Freedom","Heart Is The Sky"(nice),"Top Of The World","Alive","Searching For My Soul"(rocks)& "Night Flight To Paradise"(nice)...if you have the chance to get it...do so!.89/100
