With the great CRAMER & WHITFORD team gone, surely this was the end? Somebody forgot to tell the rest of the band as JAILBAIT was the best song the band had done since the mid 70's! The rest of the album ain't half bad either!

Hard to believe but at a young age this was my introduction to Aerosmith and I just loved this album. Saw them on this tour twice!! Great memories. Just a great sweaty, raunchy, dirty in the gutter rock-n-sleaze record. To compare to "Rocks" or "Toys" is like apples & oranges to me so I won't bother but a wonderful detour for these guys worth checking out. If decadence could have a sound this record would be it.

I know this was not a fav of so many Aero fans but I sure thought this is shit hot..absolutely loved this one..maybe the bit of a change was a good thing..I'm only sorry it was only one disc

A solid album from The "Bad Boys of Boston" I love Jailbait, Lightning Strikes, and Bitches Brew. I think they new guys on the album also held their own.

WITH OUT THE ORIGINAL LINE UP - THEY WERE ABLE TO DO A DECENT RECORD I DIG THIS ALBUM I GIVE IT A 6/10

Tyler keeps the name goin with a few replacement members, this album is overlooked but has some strong tracks. "Lightning Strikes" off of this album is a personal favorite. Useless trivia on that song, the video was the first rock video to be filmed in 3-D... which was kind of pointless 'cos MTV didn't hand out 3-D glasses, but whatever. By this time Tyler was so stoned he could barely hold onto a microphone in concert, legend has it...

This remains Aerosmith's most aggressive album on a consistent basis, and it is frustrating this lineup dissolved so soon after. Latterday Aerosmith's pandering to radio and pop is an insult to what was achieved here. This is the way to remember an overhyped band for what they once were, hard rock legends.

Right on Rycheage, considering the whole lineup change this album is balls out and totally underrated. I have trouble listening to anything after "Done With Mirrors", you can buy any album after that and you won't need the rest 'cause they all sound the same... IMHO but of course...

This albums kicks ass! No two ways about it! The first 4 songs flow so nicely and the rest is good too. Yes they were drugged out, just hanging on...the sound of rock! The sound of Aerosmith! This may have been the last time the guys really rocked on an album, as Done With Mirrors was a little stiff. And after that, well, we all know what the band has become, sadly. Saw them twice on the tour and while Tyler was a little rough and Crespo looked like a zombie on stage, the band came through.

The black sheep releae of Aerosmith, this is actually one of their better albums. The new guitarist are suitable replacements and their are some fine tracks here such as the entire first half. 8/10

Lightning strikes came out of nowhere and pulled the rug from under my feet! Awesome album.

Sad to say, but I think the song "Lightning Strikes" is the only reason I keep this one because that is one killer f*ckin' tune and the rest is really quite bad. The band was just way to f*cked up to put out anything with any kind of consistancy. I'm just grateful there were a couple of decent songs. I do like the nice rocked up sound. Shame the songs were so weak.

I have some kind of loving with this album..maybe coz i bought on tape when it came out...songs weak???...really???.."Jailbait" kick butts all along..."Bolivian Ragamuffin"(particular)"Cry Me A River",the same "Lightning Strikes" that 4 some is the best track of the album..anyway is a shame these guys nowadays don't play these songs live...they went far too commercial but with class...i'll give this an 80/100

very good release in the early 80 s by the changed AEROSMITH lineup.don t be fooled by the 1st listening ,the songs are nice and they got so much groove all the way.listen to rockers "jailbait","bitches brew","jig it up" and to the ballads "cry me a river" and "push comes to shove".great collection of songs

This was my intro to Aerosmith. Sure it's another game than Rocks, Toys,..., and the rest of their previous stuff but I like it because it's kind of raw. 70/100
