I forgot how good this soundtrack is.

AC/DC and Tesla on the same soundtrack! You know it's got to be great! This is a pretty good album. There are a few I could do without.

Where did ten years go? This really is a good soundtrack. Probably one of the best ones I've heard. Definately worth a listen, even thought not all songs are winners...the majority of them are.

The best hard rock soundtrack ever, and maybe the last great one period. Features some excellent not available on any studio albums songs by Megadeth, AC/DC, Queensryche, Anthrax, and especially Tesla. The only really dissapointing tracks are the boring Def Leppard ballad, "A Little Biiter", and "Jack The Ripper". 9/10

Movie was forgettable, weird thing is though, this soundtrack is an important document of hard rock history. It uncannily captures the moment and time when glam metal and 80's hard rock (represented by AC/DC, Aerosmith, Tesla, Def Leppard and Queensryche) was making way for grunge/alternative metal (Alice In Chains & Fishbone) and thrash metal (Anthrax & Megadeth) as the more dominant form of the genre.

Two Steps Behind got me interested in Def Leppard again. I'm not really into Alice In Chains anymore but, I definitely blasted this soundtrack loudly as a 18 or 19 year old kid in his first apartment.

The first four tracks were all big hits on harder American radio in the summer of '93, and while the Def leppard song was too light for the format by that time, was still big on AOR and top-40 stations. Surprisingly, I never heard the Anthrax or Tesla tracks, even though both bands were still very popular at the time (and Anthrax had just released Sound of White Noise). A pretty good, diverse sdountrack overall, and definitely way more successful than the movie. The other really hot compilation CD from '93 was the Beavis and Butthead Experience, which came out late in the year.
