lately it seems to me that many artists who were previously involve in a band want to do solo albums this is the case of guys like:j.s.soto;mickey thomas;jack blades...etc.some of them manage to release good albums and some dont.jesse damon falls into the latter category;i gave the album a few listens and it just fails to gain my attention simply because there are not enough quality songs to do so and the word "filler" comes to mind quite often. shame really cause i was expecting a lot more from |

the silent rage voice but unfortunately failed to deliver. |

I fully agree with Rob, this is disappointing ! |

This cd is really bad--You would have figured that the vocalist from silent rage would have put a decent solo record out--The production on this cd sucks the only half decent song is "Lay the blame" so stay away from this cd!!!!! |

I feel this album is Jesse's finest work, he shows diversity, and the type of writing material that makes any writer come alive. Especially vocals. I am not narrow minded unlike these other comments. I feel that a solo artist, should show his own style, not the work of the band he was previousely in. I'm kind of glad he didn't sound like Silent Rage. Therefore Great work Jesse, you've inspired me!! Love the latest CD as well. |

Now where'd I put this disc? This isn't too bad, butsure ain't great either. I didn't like Silent Rage's new disc and this doesn't do much to impress either. Average rock. |

Average rock also to me,too average to be kept, the second release is more modern and maybe a little less boring but both works are less than decent.... |
From: juan carlos | Date: July 4, 2008 at 22:07 |
There are good songs like "Everybody Loves Somebody" "Love Isn't Love" "Someone Like You" "If She'd Be Mine" "Lay The Blame" but a lot of fillers too. "Heart Of Love" is a very intimate song, narrow-minded Me? Nope, but as a global review i could say that itīs an average/Ok Melodic Rock. 7.5/10 |

excellent solo release for JESSE DAMON exploring diverse music styles and offering great songs indeed!the only problem is the lack of drums which is quite annoying ,as the programming arranges are quite poor!Paul s contribution is valuable as always and the result is big with songs like "love isnt love","everybody loves somebody" and "someone like you"!highly recommended |
