Does anyone have this and can tell me if it's any good? I have his 'I Am Alive' solo album, which is brilliant Peter Cetera/Rick Price style smooth AOR, but I wouldn't mind getting this if it's good...

Hmm. . ., TIM(2), I don't think you will like this, don't know ! It's more westcoast than even lite AOR and it sounds terrible dated, if you know what I mean. It's difficult to advise you about this one. I don't recommend it !

From: TIM (2) Date: July 12, 2004 at 13:15
Thanks AOR Freaky, will probably pass on it then. It's not that cheap on eBay, so I'll just stick to playing Vertigo and his 'I am Alive' solo album. If it's aged as badly as his curly ginger hairstyle then I'm better off without it!

From: AOR freaky Date: July 12, 2004 at 15:30
It's your decision, Tim(2), but I really think you did great by passing on it, certainly if it is not that cheap. I've tried to give you correct information. All the best !

I strongly recommend the solo album by Michael Omartian'the race',what a superb work of high quality.Top aor with the right poppy touch that needed the songs IMO,immense cd!!!

very good info AOR freaky I think. This cd is horribly over-priced everywhere and I'm not saying it's rubbish but just it's certainly not great. The price would just leave an awful taste in your mouth. He did much better solo works. He was very young here..and he sings well.. there is some good moments, but I would be hard pressed paying 15 dollars for this nevermind the 40 dollar import price

Avoid! Boring except for track 3...

Simple album...nothing really extraordinaire in here but at the same time nothing really bad...a matter of tastes...i own the 1998 reissue with a couple of songs as B/T that are already in the album("Takin' It"/demo version & "Make Some Time"/alternate version both good ones)...talking about my faves then i'd go for these ones: "That First Night"(nice),"Takin' It","I Didn't Do It" & "Make Some Time"...JW was starting to show his skills as a singer and in here u can listen to some kind of Michael Jackson tone of voice here and there...80/100
