Hé, I've always liked this band ! And to be honest : I even don't know why, but they intrigue me ! A bit a kind of 'special' AOR (don't know how to describe it !) and I'm still playing their records from time to time ! Fascinating band, and they're from Canada, after the USA the country that offered us the best AOR ! Sometimes they remind me a bit of Loverboy, but that's not exactly totally right. Streetheart is more adult, Loverboy more party AOR ! Both I like 'em both. Not superb, but good. |

Without doubt their finest moment. |

I found this very bland. Bored me as much as Pride of Lions. |

Hey Gringo,I have always wanted to say that, but that Pride Of Lions comment hurt a bit.... |

Oh I love this band and this has to be one of their best albums. The keyboard intro to Without Your Love still sends shivers down my spine after all these years. If you find a copy of the album brought out a couple of years before this called Quciksand Shoes grab that it's fantastic. In fact I don't think that they did a bad album so grab any you can find except Action which is a compilation but it's not a good representation of what the band is about. Excellent stuff! |

Hey AOR Freaky - definitely one of the 24 essential AOR bands, and this is close to being their top album. Only 1983's Dancing With Danger rates higher for me, produced by Spencer Proffer (Shooting Star), full of melodic classics. I'm not sure if their sound is hard to describe though - just classic AOR !! It's a pity that '83 album is not on cd yet, but for now the vinyl gets through plenty of work ! Cheers |

Absolute classic release from a classic band. I have all 4 of their releases on vinyl and they are all excellent. I suppose I should buy them in cd form if they're available. IMO they rate higher than Loverboy although they never received the success that Loverboy did. |

Without Your Love is a brilliant uptempo aor track and alone is worth the price of this album- the rest of the disc is very good as well, just not as sizzling as the opener....This is the release to get if you want to hear this band at the "peak of perfection." First spin through this one almost converted me into an AORFreaky disciple.....almost (HeHe)...though that chap did have great taste in AOR....Jeff. |

Wonderful classic old school AOR...loved it all!!!...pleasant voice(Kenny Shields) and great songs for our ears ..."Without Your Love" awesome starter with a fantastic beat,"Mad As Hell","Miss Plaza Suit" & "Wired" are catchy songs,"What Kind Of Love Is This" is a nice soft song,"Look In Your Eyes" is a smoothie mid tempo & "Ain't In No Hurry" is ...recommendable album 4 sure if you are into these bands that started it all...90/100 |
