If you notice that a particular Jester CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Jester are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I wouldn't call this hard prog rock, but rather pomp rock. Decent stuff, certainly not in the premier division, but not bad at all. Check it out, if you have the chance ! |

Very tight musically,Jester combine the perfect tri-merger of Rush, Saga and Dream Theater in one very compact package, with musicianship and flair to boot. Saga gets the big tribute on 'I Want To Believe',those synths are straight out of 'Silent Knight',while Dream Theater like flavors abound on the piano laced 'Stranger In Your Eyes'. 'Its Time' lands somewhere between Tyketto and Indianapolis's secret weapon Under Fire. The closer is the band's attempt at a power ballad, and it's not bad. |

Whilst in my opinion this does not compare to the US Jester, it's not bad. If you like the band Jackal (Though they're a little more metallic) you'll probably like this one. Rycharge has it right above, and those kind of bands aren't what I personally like so hence this did not make me grin heartily. But in being what it is, it's really quite decent. |

This is a pretty good disc in places. Totally agree with the Saga influenced keys which are nice, and maybe a slight bit of 2nd division Dream Theater thrown into the mix. Nothing really stands out during it's short 35 odd minutes, but it certainly doesn't offend either, with some good ideas floating around. It certainly will be of interest for the Pomp/Prog brigade. |
