One of their best records. Happy pop AOR.

Since You've Been Gone has to be one of the best POP/AOR songs ever writtne. Good fun band

Good album sounds like a mix between Rick Springfield and Police.

From: bernardito Date: June 21, 2004 at 1:30

Joder, bernardito; pues a mi me encantan, tio!!!

From: Bernardito Date: December 15, 2004 at 21:17

While Play Deep is a better album, this one has the best song recorded by the band in Since You've Been Gone. Another good one by the Outfield. You can't go wrong with this one. Purchase and enjoy.

This album is definately a grower. Originally I thought there were only a couple of standout tunes, but upon closer inspection I have to say that every AOR fan needs this album. Guitar driven straight ahead AOR featuring brilliant tracks such as Somewhere In America, Bangin On My Heart, Moving Target and Playground. Hate the artwork, but the music inside is well worth investigation! Reccomended.

Although I liked their debut better, this is still an excellent follow-up. They carry on with the same great sound.

ACEPTABLE.

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: June 29, 2007 at 19:39
ACEPTABLE.

To me,this album is very Night Ranger-Damn Yankees-ish.Singer reminds me both Tommy Shaw and Sting from Police.A fine release.

It's a great AOR Album.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 24, 2015 at 18:06
Ummm for me this is quite a step down after the very pleasant debut...then on the 3rd album the band recaptured the magic lost in here(a matter of tastes)..."No Surrender","Better Than Nothing" & "Since You've Been Gone" are the only songs that caught my attention...60/100

From: hair metal again Date: December 5, 2016 at 3:05
very good release this one ,with OUTFIELD offering great harmonies with a stellar production!the musicianship is top notch and after a few spins you ll be hooked with their quality !"somewhere in America",'bangin on my heart"& "better than nothing" are the highlights of this recommended hard rock release

From: titothetitan Date: August 8, 2018 at 13:51
In their 'Best Of' album, there's an alternate version of 'Somewhere in America' and a acoustic version of 'Alone With You'
