derek oliver(writer of kerrang magazine & author of the international encyclopedia of hard rock & heavy metal) once stated that alpha centaury is the worlds best undiscovered pomp rock band, this statement has obviously made aor collectors around the world to start searching for such album including me;once my search was over the first words that came to my mind were "son of a b***h...derek is right!!." the rest is history as they say!!. |

Excellent rare long lost classic gem of an album from US Pomp Rockers Alpha Centauri. This album is well worth getting for your collection. I seen these guys live and they put on an awesome show. Think of early Rush mixed with early Yes. Just listen to the epic Hard Life, I'm A Rebel, Love Is A Curse, Love Only You. Rated 9/10. |

Vaya Tela!! ¿Q deciis vosotros? |

Good record or maybe a Classic if you are Fan of Pomp Rock but not my kind of stuff, sorry. Good guitar Solos and some catchy tunes/Keyboards, just that for me. "You Shot Me Down" and "Earth in Motion" are Good ones. 7.5/10 |

I noticed the name was spelled incorrectly....the actual name of the band is Alpha Centauri...This band from Colorado is fronted by vocalist/keyboardist Randy Thompson and guitarist Jess Redman on their only release that I'm aware of. You'll hear some well played AOR/Pomp for fans of classic bands such as STYX AND ROADMASTER. Definitely a classic... |

Sounds like a lost Uriah Heep-lp. If Heep had continued with David Byron, I imagine they would have sounded like this in '77. |
