The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Glasgow CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Musically though, these guys drive right through the heart of melodic hard rock territory, demonstrated with a blend of power usually associated with UK bands. Musically the band were similar to Mammoth and Export, and though classy in its own right. The lead off track 'We Will Rock' is a primal anthemic track with the same sort of drive as the aforementioned Mammoth mixed in a with a dash of AC/DC. One of their older tracks 'Under The Lights' gets a rework here, sounding like early Grand Prix.

well all i can say is.this is not that good.the singer just can't sing.simple as that.unless you have more money than sence.don't bother.

I have the japan version, fortunately i obtained it for a bargain price ´cause it would be a disaster if i had paid a lot of money for this one.The singer is lack of skill and sometimes he sounds annoying, the production is poor, the only songs that catch my interest are "No more lonely nights" and "Back on the run", the other songs are somewhat mediocre. Pd: I haven´t got the OBI strip of this one if someone could send me a scan by E-mail would be great!! Contact:davidgilvallejo@wanadoo.com

C'omon guys, don't be so rude."Meet me halfway" is not that bad. Sure i agree that this is not a great band but is better than others that you may be praised.

I thought these guys had a good reputation in the genre, but according to the above comments maybe not. I don't mind them. They're not great by any means, as stated, but there's a few pretty cool AOR / melodic rock songs here. Not essential, but not bad if a CDR ends up in your lap. Would I be foolish to say they remind me of a much lesser MTB?

Three awsome tracks , Breakout, We Will Rock, and Under The Lights. I managed to see them live in Scotland a few years back and they were much better live. Apparently the CD was very poorly produced, as the original producer of the band was cut out of the deal with Sonet Records. Since then, I have managed to get hold of 18/20 unreleased tracks and they are 10 x better than the album and very AOR in places, its hard to beleive that its the same band. Buy the rare Japanese CD, its better quality.

La Hímnica "We Will Rock" inicia bien el disco. Pudo ser un clásico pero.. 8/10

Not brilliant, but enjoyable hardrock.

Wow undusted my vinyl(by the way it is a promotional edition before it came out at records stores,so it makes it quite a collector's item )and let me tell you, these guys deserved a lot more than the little recognition they got back in the day..."We Will Rock","Secrets In The Dark","Meet Me Halfway" are killer tracks but add 2 that the likes of "My Heart Is Running With The Night" & "No More Lonely Nights"....powerful & solid vocals by Michael Boyle plus the contribution of Don Airey(Ozzy Osbourne,Rainbow) on keyboards...by the way Paul McManus is related with the boys of Mama's Boys(the band)they are relatives(the McManus brothers)...recommended album...94/100
