Is "Paradigm" the soundtrack for a new Braveheart sequel movie? I'm not digging the Celtic/folk/mandolin influences at all.The lyrics stress a rebellion (against the system/politics?) Paradigm means a cognitive framework shared by members of a group. With politics as a example, The left–right paradigm is a concept that societies have a tendency to divide themselves into ideological opposites. It's a controlled opposition created by the elite banking cartel. New face(president to blame),same agenda. "Politicians are put in office to give you the ILLUSION you have a choice, you don't" George Carlin. This band has been around now to close to 20 years and I think they are a talent, especially the production skills of Martensson and Henriksson for other bands. But as far as this release, I like a couple of songs but I'm definitely not blown away. When you have so many irons (side projects) in the fire, sometimes your motherboard band suffers.I expect more from this well oiled machine. |

Solid, but not spectacular. Musically it's the same old Martensson; there is absolutely nothing new under the sun here, especially concerning the riffs, lyrics and overall pace of the album. As one HH board member put it, "it sounds like he's marching to war again." It's been getting harder and harder for me to get into this band for several albums now, not like there's anything wrong with them but it's just not as instantly appealing as Bleed & Scream was. The music isn't worse -- just a little stale. |

Another fantastic release from Eclipse. The war theme doesn't botter me at all. The album is catchy from start to finish. Only killer songs. No fillers at all. One of the best releases of 2019 along with The Defiants. Buy it! |

In comparison with previous releases of the act this is a bit of a step down...still is acceptable though...tracks # 1,4,6,7,8 & 11 are the ones for me.80/100 |

ECLIPSE s latest release Paradigm is ok with their usual energy ,nice vocal work and some interesting solos, but somehow they seem to be trapped in digital production ,lack of big hooks and rush to release an album every 2 years!"delirious","mary leigh" and "never look back" are fine songs and the rest is remarkable but i think they need to lay back a,have their time ,forget about revolutions and make a really good album |
