hard hitting guitar.but poor vocals.with better voice.this could have been a killer album.if you can get it cheep buy it.i think the guitarist must have mixed this cd.as he's well up in the mix.lol

Not as good as I was lead to believe (Heavy comparisons to Danger Danger) but I've heard many worse. Pretty cool melodic hard rock album. I actually might take this one out for a listen again. Good stuff, just not brilliant.

This is competent hard rock at best. The vocals are not the strong suit of this band and they would do better to go a different route next time out (if there is a next time). Musicianship is pretty cool but the production is not as clear as it could be. Not the best choice out there, but OK, like Jessica said, if you can get it "cheep".

Oh my gosh DO NOT pay 43 bucks on Ebay for this! Heard they were a bit D2 sounding so I got it a while back. Not impressed at all, got rid of it. Average at best.

one of the best melodic hard rock pressed in the last 10 years. 9,5

nice Indie release, guitardriven, melodic hardrock. Very strong songs, each with an own face and rhythm, unbelievable. Cause it´s an indie you can´t compare the production with old Bon Jovi. "Addiction" even hits harder and got more rock ´n roll spirit than every major release ever could own. - Midnight angel were on the way to record a second album in 2003 for Fast Lane Records, but it seems that it was never released ( what a pity!) Got anyone any info about this?

http://www.myspace.com/midnightangelrocksphilly These guys are actually back together now, with their original bassist and a different singer, playing around PA and NJ and they sound good. I've known of them for almost ten years now. Stevie sent me the demo disc they did with this line up, and I can't quit playing it. They are worth giving a second listen. The only song from this album that's on my demo is "hollywood tragedy", but it's catchy as all get out. this is out music should sound.

"Hollywood Tragedy" es mi favorita, "In My Arms" con un muy buen solo, "No Fear" "Lonely As The Night" y "Surrender My Heart" muy buenos. 8/10

Musically MIDNIGHT ANGEL plays pure 80s guitar oriented straight-ahead melodic hardrock which combines influences of bands like DOKKEN, DAMN YANKEES, FIREHOUSE, VELOCITY, DANGER DANGER and WHITE LION. It was produced very well by lead vocalist Damian Monte Carlo and guitarist Mike Gallagher. My favourite tracks are the cheerful uptempo melodic rockers "Hollywood tragedy", "In my arms", "You're no good" (a la JULLIET) and "All I ever wanted" (POISON influences). This is 80s Rock all the way! Another notable song is the midtempo melodic rocker "Surrender my heart" which sounds very strong.
