can someone tell me about this? i seem to see it everywhere but know nothing about it?

It's a pretty cool little album, the first track is a bit melancholy and opens IDENTICALLY to U2's Bullet the Blue Sky, not that that's useful to know Anyhoo, it's slightly difficult to describe... I guess the closest comparison I can think of is something like Law & Order or Mother Love Bone, but there's some great RRRock songs in there. The singer has a touch of Bon Scott to his voice... I dunno, it's just a great lost rock album, as long as you know it's not glam or anything, check it out.

Yes! I'd been meaning to submit this gem for a while, but I guess somebody beat me to it. I loved this disc for years, and it still gets frequent play in my house(and car). Like Aero Force Mike said, it's kinda hard to put a label on their music. At times, they have a bit of an AC/DC edge to thier songs(especially the vocals). I'd also compare them to Dangerous Toys(musically, not lyrically). Just quality hard rock, overall. "Catholic Boy" just drips with attitude. You can find this cheap, so ch

The singer has a strange voice (a sleazy version of Billy Corgan?) but the music isn't grunge at all. There are a few Guns N'Roses influences (in fact GN'R helped them and was thanked in the liner notes). Listen to the beautiful acoustic-driven ballad "Raintown". It's like GN'R "Sweet Child O'Mine" meets Ugly Kid Joe "Mr. Recordman". Btw, "Raintown" was one of my favorites during my last year on the junior high. Ah, those were the days

I want some of that is a great tune. One hell of a rock a roller, the other songs ain't that good, but not bad. If u're a hard-rock fan, buy this album.

'Wishing well' is a cool hard rock songs and the album is decent, but I fear a lot would label this as an album leaning towards grunge sort of stuff. I don't really, but could see the views being presented. For me it was average and another one I sold. Man I've sold a lot of CDs!

I owned this album years about... back when it came out... then (much to my surprise) I got intruced to my mates new boyfriend... who happened to turn out to be the drummer (Derek).... can you beleve he's embarrassed about being in this band??? I loved this album when I was 18... and now.... 11 years on... I'm ge drummer.... rock on Derek!!!!! )

Don't like this one much at all. Very sleazy, reminds of Dangerous toys second album. I'm not saying it's bad. I'm sure it would be great if you like this kind of music. I'll take great hooks and the big melodies over this.

"I know what I need" is pretty good. Reminds me of Great White.
