The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular The Zeros CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from The Zeros are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

'love's not fair'...

Got this a long time ago and it still makes me laugh. So silly and over the top it's quite good.

I expected to like this one better than I did. I've always had a soft spot for ridiculous looking glam bands and the Zeros definitely fit that bill. To me though, the sound was a little too pop/punk influenced(kinda like the Dead Milkmen) and didn't match up with the bands' look. I don't like to judge a book by its cover, but I guess I was expecting more of a Pretty Boy Floyd or D'Molls style. The songs on this are pretty humorous and catchy, so if you're into that by all means check this one ou

Sure they were more punk sounding than PBF or D'Molls but that was the style of glam that evolved in the 90's. Like Spiders and Snakes or The Glamour Punks. For my money though they wrote great, catchy songs and were fun as hell to see live !

do you recommend "rules the world" 1994 2nd release of this band ????

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: April 11, 2005 at 4:39
Actually, their official second release was Names Vol 2. From Rule the World, I've only actually heard Uh Oh and the title track. The former was pretty good. You can still buy it from Sammy Serious' website. About 15 dollars, if I remember correctly.

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: April 28, 2005 at 18:42
Whoops, meant Names Vol. 1. Sorry for any confusion that mighta' created. lol

I'm a big fan of glam, but to me this was just nonsense. Think Hollywood Teasze / Heart Throb Mob type glam, with a dose Star Star thrown in... but much worse than all those bands. It's not the more melodic (simple) song driven glam like Bang Gang, PBF or Poison (Which I personally like best). To me this is throwaway crap and entirely avoidable... IMO of course.

I LOVE these guys! Cant decide to take them seriously or what. But I do love the songs. have had this cd for a long time and still remember the words to almost every song. Sticky Sweet Girls, Zero To Mom, Nobody Cares are my favs.

Again--where the HELL is RULE THE WORLD by the Zeroes???????????????????

From: poproxx2007 Date: September 4, 2006 at 20:36
If you were around the Sunset Strip scene around 90-91 these guys were absolute hype. Great live show and the Whiskey painted the outside purple in they're honor. I WISH I KNEW is a great glimpse of the brilliance of Sammy Serious. Don't expect Poison or melodic hard rock this is Ramones meets the Sparks style. They influenced Heart Throb Mob and Glamour Punks which all come from the same ilk.
