The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Compilations CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Compilations are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Man, this Comp is SO DAMN good! It represents an era when bands were just absolutly raging, with tons of talent and dreams. Oh, and these bands I speak of actually sing and play there own instruments, GO FIGURE! Sorry, I thought I was yelling at a Rap fan there for a sec! Anyhow, plenty of standouts here, like Chalet's rocker, Aces & Eight's little ballad (a song that brings me way back) and the ABSOLUTE RAGING ASS KICKER by Grave Danger (and yeah, get anything by them!). Rating: a 10 for me! |

Oh, and I forgot to add the song by John Corabi's (ESP, The Crue, Scream, 24/7, Union) old band Angora, which if I'm not mistaken is his first band... The pictures of them (Angora) are just great in the inserts too, so hungry for that record deal!!! |

Nice inclusion Dan! I found this gem for $2 on cassette a few years back and it has become an all-time favorite. The music is a bit dated, but acts as the perfect chronicle of what LA sounded like in the 80's. Angora just rips through "Shake Shake" proving Corabi's talent. Many say it was Angora who should have come out of LA as big stars, not Poison. Chalet, Gran Max, and Grave Danger also provide good moments. There was a first installment of this series, but not as good as "Sons". |

I love this CD. Angora was awesome. Aces & Eights were one of my favorite LA bands. I thought they were going to be huge. Grave Danger was great, too. Hell, yeah! |

dolly_dagger - Did Aces & Eights ever release a CD? I purchased this compilation just for 'Black Roses'. If you have other songs by them I'd love to hear them!! Did any of the members join other groups? I can't find anything on the net about them. |

Did the band Chalet ever do a full-scale release of any kind? Would love to hear it if they did! |

I have a CDR of Aces & Eights demos that I got from a girl who used to work for them. It is so good. Black Roses doesn't even do them justice at all. |

I have no idea if anyone will ever read this, but what the hell... My old friend Chris (guitarist/Chalet) just sent me this link. This is Doug (lead vox/Chalet) I would love to see the video you have Jeane. David, if you're still interested in releasing something, maybe Chris & I can hook you up! Thanks for all the good words guys and gals. My personal email is dougn1758@yahoo.com I think I have an old cassette (believe it or not) that still works, and has these cuts on it. It would be THE original copy made from my 4 track (cassette) fostex...lol I recorded this in my living room for God's sake. 1987 I believe. Not bad for a "Hey let's do some recording today guys). Anyone reading this, shoot me an email... |
