| I can vouch for the Deadthings, JackViper, Bastardz and Radio Vipers... all great bands IMO. I thouhgt the Hollywood Hairspray series originally started to release some hard to get stuff, now it just seems to be plugging the latest releases from Perris.

| **************Ya salió el Hollywood Hairspray Vol. 5!!! Imagínense, 16 bandas en un solo cd, puro hard rock! Todo super bien, pero por ahí vienen los peros.... “Pero es todo hard rock americano, a mi me gusta también el hard rock europeo....” hay ocho, si, OCHO de los mejores artistas europeos como Chris Laney (Zan Clan, Animal) de Suecia, reconozcamos que Suecia se convirtió en la segunda meca de grupos de primer nivel en hard rock como Europe, Loud & Nasty y hasta los tan hablados Gemini 5.

| A Chris lo acompañan en este album otras bandas suecas como On Parole y Hollywood. De Europa también están Radio Vipers de Italia, Jack Viper y Nice ‘N’ Sleezy de Inglaterra, Alter Ego X de Holanda, y Silver Dirt de Suiza. “....pero yo quiero conocer bandas de otros países, ver que sonidos nuevos hay....” Con solo mencionar a Bastardz (Brasil) con el fabuloso tema “Pills”, imagínense que ya este cd es oro puro, a los Bastardz ya los conocemos de su disco “No ass, no pass”

| hace no mucho tiempo, ahora ficharon con Perris Records, y sabiendo el excelente disco de estos brasucas, seguramente van a dar mucho que hablar, seran los Sepultura del hard rock? Veremos..... Hay otra banda de Brasil llamada Snow, con un sonido tipo Poison, la verdad que me gustaron bastante, tendría que escuchar su disco completo para poder dar una opinión mas certera. Varias de estas bandas traen aires frescos, nuevos sonidos, y clásicos arreglos al mejor estilo hard rock.

| En fin, no hay peros, este album para mi es un tesoro, y les garantizo una fiesta en sus iodos. Para completar el listing de USA están como dije Dirty Rig con “Suck it” (banda liderada por Kory Clarke, que conserva bastante el sonido Warrior Soul) Sweet Cheater “Dancen on my grave” (para mi uno de los mejores track) Gunshy “Hold on to your dreams tonight” Backseat Superstars “Love story” Straight Fork “Women, whiskey, weed and lies”. -De Suecia: Chris Laney “Instinct animal”.

| Hollywood “Hearts on fire” (mas cercano al AOR), On Parole “Midnight in her eyes” . De Italia: Radio Vipers “Pusher” (yo prestaría bastante atención a Italia, esta germinando una inmensa movida hard rock en el país, madre de America), -De Brasil: los Bastardz “Pills” que tienen una onda Faster Pussycat Snow “Razorblade kiss”. -De Australia: The Deathings “Forever damned” (banda que esta pegando fuerte en su país natal).
