by the track listing, it looks like every other damn Various Artists CD's that you can buy at Target for $7.99....... Big deal. The only band it's missing is Quiet Riot. |

I agree Jason. Looks like an album I could make in 6 minutes with my burner. Why does every 80's rock compilation include the same songs w/maybe one or two different bands thrown in for good measure. What? No Warrant-Cherry Pie??!! |

Very few surprises, as usual. (Rainbow, Motorhead, ANthrax.) I understand why they make these things this way, so casual fans will buy them, because if they saw a bunch of obscure bands, they'd go "Oh, no, man, I don't know any of these songs." But damn! How 'bout some variety? Oh well, I've got all these anyway, and wouldn't be into buying this type of CD. |

Come on,80's heavy metal, you.ve got to be kidding! With the exception of judas priest, motorhead and maybe anthrax, non of these band mention are heavy metal band. they are glam, sleaze or pop metal band. POison-heavy metal? i don't know what iron maiden, manowar and all the other heavy metal bands will think of this! Does this mean that poison and winger are more or less as heavy as motorhead or judas priest?come on,where's the standard? |
