Marc Jordan is one of my all-time favourite artists. This is a very good Jap-only ultra-smooth westcoast release, but pales next to the follow-up "Talking In Pictures" album which was a monster release. If you haven't bought his solo stuff before then the compilation "Living in Marina Del Rey" is the place to start, but westcoast fans need to have mega-classic "C.O.W" and it's nearly-as-brilliant follow-up "This is How Men Cry" from 1992. |

I introduced this cd here the same day i received it from ebay and i have to say that this is one of the best cds iīve bought in years, it has a classy westcoast sound with great songs, for me the best is "A Hole In The Wall" and "Slipping Away". Great collaborations. I have all original cds from this man and i think this album altogheter with COW is the best perform from this fantastic musician, so i give this one a 10. Very rare to find nowadays believe me!!!.Contact:davidgilvallejo@wanadoo.es |

Hey West of Sunset, you liked this one more than "Talking Through Pictures" and "C.O.W"? I like it, but think it sounds very dated to listen to these days and is not quite as consistent with the hooks and melodies as the follow-up album. Amazing production though, as with all his 80's albums. Was a shame he decided to strip things down a little into the 90's as the album quality really suffered. I also have originals of all his albums... |

This is about to be re-issued in Japan (with AIRPLAY to follow next month - and talk of the DAVID ROBERTS to also get a re-issue). IMHO Kim Bullard was the genius behind Marc Jordan's work and wasn't involved until the following 2 magnificent albums. This has the likes of David Foster, Jay Graydon & Steve Kipner writing the songs and as such sounds very similar to Airplay rather than Jordan's other work. It's good, but a million miles from the 2 classic albums that followed. 7/10. |

MAGNIFICENT westcoast album. A real must have for all fans of Maxus, Airplay, Toto and the likes. Stunning musicianship, great songwriting and a voice that deserves to be heard to be believed. Probaly in the top 20 best ever Westcoast/AOR releases ever. |

Pretty nice album...relaxed...in agreement with the friends above about the description of it(stunning, classy, ect ect ect)...the best cut for me is "Hold On" but also these ones are very likeable "Slipping Away","A Hole In The Wall","Where Did We Go Wrong","Love Like A Wheel" & "Thieves"(nice)...a good album to listen to with a good bottle of red wine and a beautiful lady beside you ...80/100 |

My god, has pure westcoast ever sounded better than "Margarita"? Talk about ear-candy. And the same is more or less true for the rest of the album, save for the title track which I am no big fan of at all. Also, check out the verses in the Jay Graydon co-write "Hold On" - genius! Immortal westcoast CD. |
