| Trax 1 & 2 are classics, but I love "Steady Rollin' Man" and consider "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" my favorite.

| this one has some great songs on it. Top to Bottom one rockin-blues album. can you pick out from one note of a George Thorogood song who it is, and the man cal play a slide guitar!!!

| Oh yeah! George is my man, and a fellow Delawarean! Great collection, missing only "Highway 49" and "Ride On, Josephine." Koogles and that other dude: what makes this hard rock is the guitar TONE, especially on the more recent tracks. The licks may be blues, but the distortion is damn near metal! The Fizz picks: 'Long Gone," "One Bourbon, One Scotch One Beer," "If you Don't Start Drinkin," "Gear Jammer" and my personal favorite, "I Drink Alone."

| I don't dislike Thorogood, I just question why his one bourbon, one scotch and one beer are all bein' served up here at the Heavy Harmonies saloon. Thorogood= hard rockin' blues. A stone's throw away from Jeff Healey. If you have Healey, then you have to submit Stevie Ray Vaughn, Fabulous Thunderbirds, etc. Suddenly, Heavy Harmonies becomes Heavy Harmonicas.

| As blues-drenched as this is I've always thought it was hard rock, ever since I was a kid (which was quite some time ago...). It just sounds heavy, like the Fizzy One says. Probably pushes the limits of appropriate content for HH, but IMHO it's all good, it's within the genre, even if it's perched on the edge.

| I think it belongs here without a doubt. If he'd said Mike Henderson & The Bluebloods or The Georgia Satellites- I might have seen his point. There are differences in those two though that keep them from belonging here. There's just no way to please everyone. Quite a few would be gone from here if I ran things. I don't though, so I just deal with it.

| then the question is do you let the new Aerosmith album on here? It is a blues, almost pure blues, cover album. Heck, a lot of the older Aerosmith is so based on the blues it isn't funny. If i see something i don't agree with being here i just keep my mouth shut. It isn't my site to decide. I can live with the "on the edge" thing. I thing Enuff Z Nuff is an on the edge band. they are more Beatles with a hard rock look, but that is just me.

| It would probably be allowed. Personally, I think if a group gets off course..then you submit what fits. I don't think the entire discography ought to be kept if the group gets away from the original sound. I can live with only the albums that fit. Of course, that depends on who you ask.

I think it would be a much better site if a certain AOR fan from Belgium ran things here...  Searches would be quick as there would only be about 10 bands allowed on the site; there would be no message board to clutter up things; and best of all, only one person would be allowed to make comments. Hey, just something to think about...

| This one fits, I think. Maybe a couple songs don't quite make the cut on their own ("Louie to Frisco"), but as a whole, I'd say yes. George's latest one, Ride 'Til I Die, I'd have to say no, although it too has some good songs, but it's too much of a stretch for this site ... And I'd be tempted to let the Georgia Satellites slide in, but just barely. "Battleship Chains?' Hard rock, man!

| Mr. Thorogood found the groove and the magic for the time. Great stuff that endures. Hard Rock is the result of great blues. Best Hard Rock band today?....Geez, Danko Jones has to be up there(We Sweat Blood)..mix up a little George and Thin Lizzy in a modern vein...and let er' rip.
