They knew the end was near and ripped off one hella hard rock record. Tongue in cheek lyrics were impressive a-la 'Everybody loves you when you're bi'. 8/10. |

Awsome cd! If you like prog rhythm variations you will love the chorus in Mind Your Own Business - crazy! Nothingness and This Little Pig are other highlights in the album. 8/10 |

This album features the song from which I took my Heavy Harmonies name. This is a lot heavier and angrier than the band's earlier releases, dialing up the hard rock and lessening the funk. Nothingness really stands out as a melancholic ballad. It still sounds fresh today. Some of the other songs are pummelling in their assault, like Go Away, Mind Your Own Business and Never Satisfied. Auslander is a great song too. Maybe Stain is not as accessible as their more popular albums, but it is just as good, even if it is a more challenging listen. 85/100. |
