i've heard few tracks, and i don't have nothing good to say about them. Typical rock songs, they won't blow you away |

I do not know how you can comment on a CD by hearing just a few tracks. I bought this CD and it is filled with GREAT songs, pristine production and inspired musicianship. I highly recommend this CD to listeners who enjoy vocals and songs with MELODIES! Also he lost art of songs with GUITAR solos. Donald Dean is a diamond waiting for you to discover. |

This is what I call for heavy AOR. Actually i will call it for Hard Rock and not AOR. Donald Dean has a very light and funny voice. But the voice is pretty good in the ballad. But not in the heavy songs. Buy it if you can find it! |

This is a great cd. Great AOR. Check out the ballad "Athena". Saw him play at a little lounge recently in the San Fernando Valley. Excellent underated artist. |

Donald Dean is an excellent Songwriter/Vocalist/Guitarrist and he shows you here. he wrote all these songs between 1983 until 1990. Very Good Melodic Rock (yeah US AOR!) with many mid-up Tempos but done with class! "Athena" is the only ballad here(Nice! ála Journey). Good production/Solos/Hooks. Tracks from 1 to 7 are my favorite but "Follow Your Dream" and "Cryin' in the Night" are my really favorite songs. 8.8/10 |
