Motley Crue sounding. They cover rick sprigfield's I've Done Everything For You...lol Nothing special here, but well worth a listen.

Actually, Rick Springfield's I'VE DONE EVERYTHING FOR YOU is a cover of a Sammy Hagar tune, but Rick's version was by far the more well known. Sammy did write it, however.

If you like Motley Crue's Too Fast For Love and Pretty Boy Floyd's Leather Boyz, you'll enjoy this cd. I'm getting a total flashback from it right now!

Just got this cd, very good catchy Melodic hard Rock. Song cool rockers mixed with some great ballads make this a great release.

I love 'Baby' - one hell of a smooth commercial rocker. 'Too late' is awesome too, and 'Last chance' is also a special track. Elsewhere, there is some cool hard rock on display here. I really like this CD and am glad it saw the light of day. Good stuff.

Yes, AOR Freaky! You are correct. There is no disputing this fact. You think it is crap so it therefore is. One for the kids, hey? Good one - you got me there. I bet the kids love unreleased 80's style glam hard rock CDs these days! I know my kiddie neighbours, cousins and primary schools all around the world are plugged into the latest Trixie CD. On the ball mate - you don't let a thing pass that genius mind of yours. Sorry I like this 'crap'. I'll try to like better CDs you like.

Very much a throwback to the Too Fast For Love album. Almost a rip off actually of Vince and Mick. But I guess you just don't hear this kind of rock anymore and I will take it! Nothing particularly smokin' but a solid effort. Keep this stuff alive!! Support this type of music and pick this one up!

People here are right in that if you handed me this and said it was unused demos from 'Too Fast For Love' I'd believe you!! When the riff to 'She's So Tight' kicks in you'd swear to god this album was released in 83'-84'. A better production would have done wonders for this disc but a really good cd if you want to relive that glam-sleaze of the early 80's. These guys seem to genuinely play this with conviction and it shows through in the grooves. 'Too Fast..' with better choruses.

I got a copy of last year's Metal Mayhem sampler which had 'I'll Take You' on it. The song took a couple listens to get into, but man when you get into it, you get into it. I'll have to get a hold of this one.

Ronnie Borchert sounds just like a young Vince Neil which is cool but IMO the album was really lacking. 'She's So Tight' gets things off to a great start, then the songs progressively get lighter sounding (the cover song fits right in) and seem to be lacking energy. 'I'll Take You' and 'Last Chance' crank things back up and are great tracks, but although from there on out the songs get heavier they also unfortunatley become rather repetitive. It was an ok album but not great.

Man, this cd has really grown on me. I've heard comparisons to 'Too Fast For Love' but this cd is much heavier and crunching. And it smacks the shit outta some of these wimpy AOR bands. And most importantly, it's just straight-ahead hard rock; no dicking around with funk metal, blues, etc. She's So Tight is a very good opener, and Too Late rocks out as well. What She Needs has a great chorus, while Baby was the song that got me into this band. They shoulda made it big!

Great album but never gonna buy it? what a contradiction mate! For me, this one is a really good Glam/HR album but not great and is similar to Pretty Boy Floyd/Motley Crue & HardRock bands too. "Baby" "Too late" "Last Chance" and "Lead Me On" are my faves. Good chorus/Riffs and some Solos but average production. Nothing to say about the cover(as mixaplic said: Nothing special). 8/10

great recordings for TRIXIE that are finally released many years later!the hair metal movement was the best thing ever happened to the hard rock genre and of course i love such bands!TRIXIE are raw, heavy, straight hard rockers with great looks and attitude and their sound is somewhere between MOTLEY CRUE and PRETTY BOY FLOYD!"baby","runnin","last chance","cmon down" are excellent songs indeed!essential for lovers of the hair metal thing

Good glam rock band. Sound is just like Pretty Boy Floyd, Motley Crue and Ugly Kid Joe.
