I love this Cd if only for the title track-a dirty rock n roll number. This is a very earthy release from Mr Perry with all tracks being very Aerosmith in style if not a little looser. Rockin Train is awesome as is Break Song and Mist is rising. This is definately one for fans of early Rocks era Aerosmith. |

Very good record from Mr. Joe Perry! In many ways superior to a lot of Aerosmith releases. Heavy stuff ! Listen to 'The Mist Is Rising', inspiring song !!! Good one ! |

AWESOME CD! "Let the Music Do the Talking" is a guitar album that would rival anything put out by Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, or Eric Clapton. The rumor was that Joe originally intended to call the album "Guitar Wars." That would have been appropriate. The title track was actually a song Joe had written for Aersomith and was later re-recorded for "Done With Mirrors." Personally, I think the Project version came out better. http://www.nolifetilmetal.com/joeperry.htm |

Very good cd here in the vein of "Draw The Line" era Aerosmith with MUCH better riffing and songs. His guitar playing is amazing on this release and there's a lot of "funkiness" to his playing throughout. Listening to this cd again reminded me of just what a great guitarist this guy is. |

Ralph Morman's (RIP) vocals are what make this album great. The title track is awesome, WAAAY better than Aerosmith's later version. |
