| what can I say, just great to have any release with Steve on vocals, with that said, not bad at all, a bit lighter than the debut and the first half is pretty laid back except for the great opener, Chains is the fastest thing Steve ever did, great one, I also like Shine on, but get the feeling I heard this song before, not sure what other song I have in mind? My other two favs are In the Shadows---great song here, and Dreams is a bit like Only the Strong Not a killer cd, but very nice stuff!!!

| I liked the debut album quite alot, but this is yet another(touted) album where the material generally falls way short. This one has a slightly more bluesy tinge than the debut & There are good moments on show in 'Did It For Love' & 'Dreams Die Hard'. Steve Overland still has that magic vocal & production wise,the whole album is very good indeed. Unfortunately this all adds up to Zip if the songs aren't up to scratch, which on this I will have to say generally, they aren't. Disappointing

| This does sound remarkably similar to the debut Shadowman album, with everything from the songwriting to the production being virtually identical. The tracks could all have been written & recorded in the same session. The only difference being this one is missing one or two of those true standout cuts from the debut ("If I Had Wings" being the prime example). "When Its Gone" is my fave, with "Did It For Love" also excellent, but otherwise the tracks are merely good & not great. 7/10.

| If I recall correctly I loved the first and the last track off the debut and the rest put me to sleep (literally in that case). Well, I thought that wouldn't be hard to top... but it appears that it was too hard a task. This isn't bad and definately more consistent than the debut, but it's so consistently average and dull and un-exciting. Nothing daring at all here. The first track is nice, but this is way safer than what I like to hear. Love Steve Overland but can't recommend this.

| I can understand everyone's negative views on this album, but it's actually rather good. I don't have the first Shadowman album so can't compare it to that, but the mix of musicians is great. Steve Overland is a smooth vocalist and the bass/drums section from Thunder adds a nice touch. It's a bit of an "old man band", not just in terms of the members' ages, but the music, it's not as heavy or fast-paced as the stuff from say FM or Thunder, but it's still a good album with some pretty solid songs

| their weakest effort.not a bad album.but boring all songs are building like the others.cool an acoustic guitars on the verse and electric guitar on the choruse.steve overland is a good singer but his "special" voice is boring.it is always the same start to the end.

Ummm,sorry my french mate 123charpenay but in my case i think this album is good,or at least,it covered better expectations than the band's debut..."In The Shadows" & "Dreams Die Hard" are songs that i really enjoyed plus these other goodies will surely bring some happiness to some too:"Learn To Live Without You","Take Me Home" & "When It's Gone It's Gone" that is a very nice song....enjoyable...87/100
