nothing new under the sun.with this band it is always the same.you have the feeling to listen always the same song or the same album.it is the main problem with this kind of bands who have a singer with a very special voice (chris ousey with heartland of steve overland with fm ,the ladder, shadowman ect...)1 2 3 album ok after it is boring.i stop to buy l a d records.

This lot get better and better with each release and this new one is no different. As people have said, nothing remotely new going on compared to before, but the songs are really very good throughout on this one. Even the cover of 'Sir' Michael Bolton's 'Fools Game' is excellent. This seems to have got absolutely no promo whatsoever, which is a real shame as it is probably the best album they have done thus far. Search it out as it is a goodie.

Another brilliant release by LAD...if they continue delivering great albums like this one in the near future they're gonna be a referrence to every AOR fan out there ...my fave tracks are "I've Fallen Into You","The Sound Of A Heartbreak"(catchy),"Another Night"(nice),"To Be With You","In This Thing Too Deep"(catchy)& "Kissin' Goodbye My Tears"(catchy and the best song of the album IMHO)...recommended by all means...92/100

123charpenay posts "nothing new under the sun". I totally disagree. Tis is the bands best release so far cause it´s not the average(sorry) melodic hard rock they´ve done before for so many times. This is uptempo pop-rock with excellent songs and memorable melodies. To be honest, some tracks remind me of the better Roxette stuff. Imo an excellent release and worth buying.

to aor 1.i am a big fan of roxette "joyride" and "look sharp" are 2 fantastics aor records.i don t understand that roxette is not present in this site.if dan read my words...think to put the extraordinary pop rock aor duo in heavy harmonies.dear aor1 we have not the same feeling about lad for me lad have nothing in comon with roxette.i keep in my collections 3 lad records.all in japan import."impressions" "dreamcatcher"their best album with "a touch of heaven".for yes i confirm my first comment i change nothing.cheers from france.

I'm with Jez on this one - LAD have put out their best albums in the 2009 -2011 period and this one is one of their best along with Touch of Heaven. Definitely more consistent and better songs than their first few albums.
