The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Easily my favorite Crowes album. A very good band whose music has some serious staying power. Besides those first few singles they were not really a band played on the radio much but still managed to amass quite the following.

Ummm....where's Right By Your Side? Great cd that should be positioned below this one?

Totally underrated. The band was going through a phase where there being influenced by old blues standards and the Grateful Dead. It truly showed from the extended jams and the way the setlists changed radfically from each night on the 96-97 tour. They we're fucking on! Of course this is Marc Ford's might be considered swan song if not for the unreleased "The Band" albums from the May 1997 sessions in Nashville. By all means track those demos down!

It's cool and The Crowes are always cool. Waitin' for reunion!!!!

This kind of stuff is really not my type of music. I just find it soooo boring. I won't be too harsh on this band because I do love their song 'Too hard to handle'. This, though - the only CD of theirs I bought as I found it really cheap - is awfully bland and boring IMO. Fans of southern rock will enjoy, hard rock fans best be careful.

I would hope anybody who discovers the Black Crowes would do themselves a favor & start out with any other of the bands cd's but this one. There is hardly anything to like here & may discourage them to continue the pursuit. The Crowes laid an egg on this one for sure.

you know what i like this album a lot very good musically and very bluesy no it's not as rocky as the first but it has a nice feel under a mountain good friday girl from a pawnshop bring on bring on and better when your not alone are the best songs you could kick back with a cold one and relax and enjoy this one for sure
