superb german pomp!! thats the best way to describe this band.great vocals although there is a bit of an accent in there but that doesnt really bother me as long as we're talking quality and there's plenty of that in here, believe me; also the use of keyboards in this album its simply breathtaking!.this is not the type of album that will grab you on fisrt listen but if you give it a few more spins you'll start to appreciate the sheer quality of this album.like someboby said:"better things come

Agreed with ROB! This CD is a winner, and a get-at-all-costs release if there ever was one. It's stamped with the signature AOR 80s sound, with those big keyboards that melodic rockers dream about at night. This is, without a doubt, the best title released on the Long Island Classics series- a perfect companion to legendary titles like Return's "Attitudes", Stage Dolls "Stage Dolls", LeMans "LeMans" or Mamas Boys "Growin' Up the Hard Way". No weak tracks either- a CD you can play start to end!

Excellent CD, can't believe this is fetching so much? "Fire's Still Burning" is the real killer track for me, but a very consistent release. Not sure I'd now pay $71 for it though!

Excellent german AOR/Melodic rock album, in the same vein as Frontline's debut. Songs like "Face To Face", "Hold On" and "Fire's Still Burning" are simply perfect AOR. Get it!

I think the original release of this was on Long Island Records also, judging by the picture at the back of the booklet. Is a shame there are only really 9 tracks & the opener is pretty average, otherwise this would be perfect AOR. 9/10.

Otro buen disco por excelencia y que pocos comentarios para este buen trabajo con temas sumamente impecables, muy alegres y con ese toque aguerrido en temas como "Into The NIght" lo mejor del disco claro por su toque y sonido demoledor, pero no se descarta el "Face to Face", la buena baladita "Hold On", y temas frescos y alegres como Be There For You, Feels Like The First Time, Fire's Still Burning buenos cortes de este decente trabajo de AOR....

Awesome AOR. "Into The Night" is the best track here IMO. Simply KILLER but every track great stuff. Similar to Journey/Valentine/Rokbox but with more emphasis on the keyboards. Also a little Winters Reign sounding in places.

Woooowww...very catchy & nice album by Rescue..what a waste that the band did not continue(as far as i'm concerned they only recorded this album)...for some this could be quite poppy at times but it conserves the attraction of the AOR sound, the "noise" that we love 2 dead!..."Don't Call Me Crazy" is a typycal catchy opening track,"Face To Face" is in the same mold as #1,"Into The Night" is a very good song,"Hold On" probably the best track in here or at least is my personal appreciation,i've always liked this kind of mid tempos songs, with that beat.."Be There For You" a goodie,"The Appereance"/"Feels Like The Firts Time" is the rocky tune of the album,"Sometimes" cool ala Ya-Ya(band),"Fire's Still Burning" ala Virginia Wolf(band),another goodie and the closing track "Deeper" the obligated ballad, nice and...deeper!...Quality is a word 2 describe this album,i mean if you accept AOR with some poppy ingredients then Rescue would be a choice.90/100
