The greatest hard rock record of all time. |
From: John | Date: February 9, 2004 at 16:35 |
The 'popular' Zeppelin album, but not my favorite. You can see where drummers like Tommy Lee and Eric Carr get their influences from on this one. The steady drolling beat on 'The Levee Breaks' is a perfect example. I think my favorite song is the acoustic tinged 'Goin' To California' because of its simplicity. 8/10 because I've always loathed 'Four Sticks'. |

One of the biggest selling albums of all time and with good reason. They pull of cock rock ('Black Dog'), epic ballads ('Stairway To Heaven'), and other styles. Sure, it is the popular Zeppelin pick for best album, but that is with good reason. 10/10 |

Of the first four albums, I found their second album took some getting used to. I learned all their songs on guitar. Their second album was a little bluesy for me; I'm not much of a blues fan. |

Aha! That's how a band outdoes itself time after time. Very nice piece of musicianship. |

This is Rock and Roll Heaven! Led Zeppelin is the greatest band of all time and this record confirms that! Trascendental! |
