for those unaware...proceed with caution on this one; this is not everybody's cup of tea!.high tech aor very similar to german compatriots jo jo. good but i dont consider it essential. |

Pomp AOR, sounds a little bit like Glasgow. Not so good album, but the first track is awesome. Ultrarare on CD so if you find it buy it. |

sold my copy much too cheap (6 euros!!), but i donīt regret it. very poor release. no catchy tunes at all. average poppy german bands like channel 5 are better than that. similiar to jo jo? sorry rob, no way. |
From: peter poland | Date: December 19, 2004 at 11:47 |
Something like Channel 5,Drama, or ever like Walk the wire , but more hi-tech oriented(not as hi-tech oriented as Ruper Hine,Time Bandits or Saga), with mid 80s sound.I'm in minority here, but i think this album is better than all comments about it. You should not sell your soul to get it, but it's good to have it.7,5/10 |

Good AOR/Hi-Tech album No Quiet Life, Don't Touch My Heart Again, Never Can Forget You hay buenos cortes pero hay mezclas que la cagan por ratos de todas maneras buen album. |

No catchy tunes here.. NO catchy tunes at all ??? --I know it's a matter of taste, but in my opinion it's a superp album with a lot of catchy, hi tech orientated tunes which almost explode of great elements and fantastic keys. I recommend it to every Hi tech AOR or synth pop lover! If I should compare, it will be BEAU HEART maybe. My favourites here are the bombastic NO QUIET LIFE, the interesting DON'T TOUCH MY HEART AGAIN or the catchiest (!) NEVER CAN FORGET YOU 9,4/10 |

"When A Paradise Burns" "No Quiet Life" and "Never Can Forget You" are very good songs. Other than that, this is a bit too average for me. If this band did a cover of "You Spin Me Right Round (Like A Record)" they'd probably do a fine job. Choruses aren't too bad but the verses are generally very boring. |
From: KurtmanJP | Date: September 22, 2008 at 1:47 |
In a way, I think it sounds kinda like Duran Duran with a German-accented Kevin Cronin on lead vocals and with an AOR touch on a couple songs. |

Dear newscandi, this album is very average, honestly it's not good.I count 2 decent tunes and any catchy arrangment or refrain.6/10??? |

I guess this could have been the result if the German band Boytronic was trying to create an AOR album.. :-)Pretty good though. Quite uique in the sound and very hi-tech almost synth pop. |

Enjoyable album IMO...ok this is a New Wave/Pop release rather than Hi-Tech AOR or perhaps it has some little sparks here and there of it,but basically is New Wave/Pop all over...Tony Mallorca's comparisons are good(add to those Icehouse too)if you want to know how they sound like...my favourite is "Never Can Forget You" followed by "Set My Heart Free"...tracks "When A Paradise Burns","Don't Touch My Heart Again"(ala Icehouse a 100%)& "No Quiet Life" are goodie ones too...85/100 |
