Great new 80s style hard rockers from Metal Mayhem, whose sound could be described as 3 parts Y&T(AJ Fedz' vocals are VERY similar to Meniketti's),1 part Cinderella,& a dash of Firehouse.Basically, the rockers (all tracks except #4) sound like a mix of Y&T & Cinderella, while 'Don't Wanna Let Go' will instantly make you think of Firehouse's ballads.I enjoy all the songs here, but 'Love It Bites','Don't Wanna Let Go' & 'There's a Price You Have to Pay' are the stand-outs in my opinion.Check it out! |

YES!! I finally found who remind me A.J.Fedz....This is a twin brother of Dave Meniketti!!...And a Snakeryder is a copy(in a positive aspect) of Y&T( even choruses are very simillar to Yesterday). Add to Y&T influences some Bulletboys, Ratt and maybe Krokus(Shake for a shake has the same vibe as Eat The Rich) and you know what you can expect. |

Thoughts of Y&T and Cinderella come to mind, but additionally, this album might have something very positive to offer fans of other bands of the era such as Julliet, Motley Crue, Paul Shortino and even early Von Groove. The album's sound is well placed in the 80's decade, but the production is impressive enough to avoid any suggestion of being dated. Most of the album rocks at a good pace, with just one mid-album ballad providing a change of pace. |

The boys are back! Not ones to rest on their laurels, AJ Fedz and the boys of Snakeryder are already back in the studio recording the follow-up to D.O.A., which will be entitled: 'Back For the Kill'. Check 'em out: http://www.snakeryder.com/_wsn/page3.html |

Yesssssssss. Excellent release from these guys. No filler to be found here. A real feel good album. Modern sound yet 80ties. Good voice. Fits the songs like a gloove. So back for the kill will be the second release. Well if better then this album then they trule are: In for the kill ! |

Yeah, these guys sound as much like Y & T as you can without having the actual band name on the CD cover. That said, they sound like Y & T when they're good, and this is a good melodic rock album that reminds me a lot of 'Contagious' era Y & T. Songwise, also very similar to Adriangale, I feel (hence the history with the 2 bands), especially the great rockers. Pick of the album is easily the massive ballad 'Don't wanna let go'. I love it! |

Don't see any similarity to AdrianGale - Snake Ryder is more bluesy rock, the other is more AOR, but still hard rock. The Cinderella/Y&T comparison is a bit more on the nickel - especially the Contagious comparison. If you can get past some pretty generic lyrics on DOA you'll find this enjoyable, as I did. There may be a filler song or two but overall you'll definitely find some REAL good music here and the singer can belt it damn good. Sound quality is very good as well! 85/100 |

This is a awesome first release from hard rockers Snakeryder. No filler just pure 80's style Hard Rock. Great vocals and killer guitars. Check them out and add this cd to your collection. Rated 10/10. |
