VERY GOOD CD. THESE ARE THE BEST FEMALE VOCALS I HEARD ON A CD IN A LONG TIME. I LIKE ANYTHING PAUL SABU TOUCHES.....HIS GUITAR WORK IS JUST AWESOME. THE LEAD SINGER SOUNDS A BIT LIKE CHER. HARD AS HELL TO FIND ON CD...BUT NOT TOO TERRIBLY BAD TO FIND ON VINYL.

It's a fairly heavy affair, with raucous vocals very much to the fore. Some genuine classics on show here, from the opening trio of 'I Can't Shake You', 'We Don't Remember Why' and 'Dance The Night Away' to the blistering melodic fury of 'Let It Rock' and 'Heart To Heart'. Some of the slower moments are great too, including 'Wanderlust' and 'A Cry Away', and there's a cover of Atlanta Rhythm Section's 'Spooky'.

Wow, I can't believe this is worth so much money! Am very tempted to sell at some stage if the price keeps going up! Is a very good CD, and the vocals and guitars are stunning, but Sabu kept most of the good stuff for himself. There's certainly nothing on here to rival "Always" or "Save A Place In My Heart" from the otherwise patchy first Only Child album. All the better tracks are early on though, and the second half of the CD is no better than average.

Jessica, great comment. I think you are spot on. Exactly what I think. And Laos probably the the best female fronted melodic hardrock band out there.

Good AOR album a classic, with the hand of Paul Sabu, Otro buen album de AOR todo un clasico por parte de una mujer entrando en las grandes como Romeo's Daughter, Annica, Heart o Witness por nombrar a las mas grandes, con similar timbre de voz que Cher, en temas We Don't Remember Why, Dance The Night Away, Cool Wind, Heart To Heart, From Now On mis favoritos, un album completo, esta joya no puede faltar en tu coleccion, a Classic AOR album.

If only Sabu could use some songs as good as these for his own CDs! 'We don't remember why' is a gem, 'Dance the night away' is very good, as is the last track. Once again, like all Sabu stuff, it's not great IMO and awfully patchy, but this is very good in places. I don't like the vocals at all and would rather have seen these songs used by Sabu himself, but there are some gems here in the style of 'Always' and 'Save a place in my heart'. Musically, very similar to Only Child debut sound.

I dont believe that anyone would pay in excess of $90 for this disc. There are some good moments, but its just not consistent enough. I have an original but only the disc...lobbed box/covers etc years ago. Never really rated it enough I suppose.

Where in the heck do people think these cds have to be so dang high priced. I don't care how good a cd is, it's not worth $90.00 or more just to have it. I am getting this cd very soon, I heard a sample and Fell in love right away. Very good singer all around.

Just to update - The re-issue is finally out, so should be easy to track down now & at a fraction of the cost!! Have always liked this album alot, but it always struck me as an Only Child leftovers album and was certainly not as good as the brilliant OC debut. There is enough quality on show here though to satisfy most & Ms. Anastasia is pretty awesome throughout. TIM (2)is quite correct in that the best of the material is in the first half, although in general it all gets the thumbs up.

I have to tell you that with this album i made a new record! Before the fourth track was over i had already bought it from ebay and i have to admit that i am inexcusable because i took too long to order it! Anyway this album has the signature of Paul Sabu all over it. Do i have to say anything else?

Well, after a listen this gave me the impression as it is a little bit repetitive IMHO. The singer has strong vocals, but I would prefer Vixen or Chrissy Steele. The song "dance the night away" is very catchy, but as I said, on the whole, not my cup of tea. 6/10 (for the singer) and 8/10 (for the music).

What a great cd,didn't know this Alexa and I must admit she was an immense talent, fantastic and powerful voice, among my fave female indeed."Wanderlust"goes directly among the best mega-hits of 80's with Robin Beck,Bonny Tyler or other big names in genre...Awesome pompous melodick hard rock/aor and I think the best Paul Sabu work I did hear...Almost perfect,10/10!P.S.Ahaha 7.40???Samey idiots.....

Altho the last song could have done better. End with a rocker I think Paul Sabu is at his very best here. Yep a quite unkown gem of an album. Love it 92/100

Finally i got myself this jewel!!!..a great female singer that shamely only recorded this album. The producer was none other than Mr Paul Sabu (i was wonderin' what can possibly go wrong with such a musician!).Back in the 80's i bought a single of the artist with 2 songs ("Wanderlust" & "We Don't Remember When",both awesome tunes!)but now after listening the whole thing i can add "Dance The Night Away" and "Heart To Heart" apart from the beautiful semi ballad "A Cry away" as my favourites too..the album closes with "From Now On" wich sends you to a night time ridin'!!!...as i said, shamely only one album but what a blast of an album!.Highly recommended...92/100

this time i am not ok with my friend rick.i think that this record is decent not more.not a bad album but when you have in your collection tindrum (first record),witness, laos, perfect crime, two of a kind, darby mills, pat benatar, alannah myles, lee aaron, agnes, isis child(french band),robin beck, ect ect ect.this record seems a child who want fight against an adult.paul sabu make a good job on this album but he is very far to top class females singers i mentionned.

"We Don't Remember Why" is decent but had more potential. Sabu should have tightened up the song and got a better solo out of his guitarist.
