| My absolute favourite Hughes solo CD as it is without a doubt the only full on "rock" album he has done as a solo artist,even the recent Songs in the key of rock features plenty of blues & funk,this one lacks both of those elements & makes it that bit more special!

| No doubt about it...this is Hughes best all around pure rock cd. It has both rockers & ballads of the highest magnitude. Oh, and of course "The people laughed til she said BURN".

| Gran album de rock blues funk y toques AOR de la "Voz del Rock", Producción 10 puntos. "THE ONLY ONE" es sin dudas uno de sus mejores temas que haya escuchado de Glenn (ya lo había oído en su "compilation: The voice of Rock" del 96). "Why Don´t You Stay", la extraña "Into The Void", "You Were Always There" (fácil entra en el repertorio de Tommy Denander), "If You Don´t Want Me To", "Homeland"(grande Hughes, temazo!) "From Now On..." y otra versión del clásicazo "Burn" las mejores. 8.7/10

| Esto es voz. Mi disco favorito de este gran cantante. Aunque para ser justo no he escuchado sus ultimos discos. Tiene un estilo unico, un sentimiento al cantar que lo hace imprescindible en tu coleccion. Puedes encontrar una cancion a duo con el cantante de Angra en el disco de Aina - opera heavy.

Brilliant release by the "voice of rock and roll" Mr Glenn Hughes...great catchy Hard Rock songs all over with that unique style that only Mr Hughes knows to do...faves?...plenty!..."Picking Up The Pieces","The Only One","The Liar","You Were Always There","Homeland","Into The Void" & "From Now On"...highly recommendable...95/100

| Simply Great! Excellent album by The Voice of Rock! A Great comeback, brilliant songs and performance. Uno de los mejores discos de este gran cantante, hard rock de primera acompañado en las composiciones por Bruce Gowdy (Unruly Child, Stone Fury)y otros artistas de renombre. Una demostración de buen gusto e interpretación. Lo acompañan en esta grabaciones músicos de Europe. Excelente!
