This sucker kicks f*ckin' ass. I like the whole thing but "15 Gets You 20" is my favorite. Not that I've experienced that personally. Poor Jimmy- lol.

"15 Gets You 20" is the only song I've heard from Cleavage (Thanks Tim!),so here's what I can tell ya from that one song. The vocalist sounds like, and I SWEAR I'm not joking, a cross between Autograph's Steve Plunkett and AC/DC's Bon Scott....if you can imagine that! The music itself is something I could easily imagine Poison, Warrant, or maybe even Danger Danger doing....I'd like to here more opinions on this one from those lucky enough to own it!

Okay, although it may be even a more obscure band then Taken, I think the singer and band has a real Rock Boulevard feel to it. Very similar to me, and Whiplash, you gave a good comparison using more common bands, but I struggle to hear Bon Scott in this guy (both being great, just didn't hear it). The music is similar to Lancia, Warrant, etc. And the rest aside from "15 gets u 20" is even better. Great and Obscure release here. RECOMMENDED!

I saw these guys perform at the old Studio One in NJ in the early 90's...WOW!!! They put on a GREAT show and their "Demo" is awesome. It's too bad they hit the "hair metal" world a bit late. Would've loved to hear more from them. Email accountingclasses@yahoo.com with any questions.

Whiplash -"15 gets you twenty" should be the next tune you feature on your site-I'd love to hear that tune. You know though-with a name like Cleavage these guys could have came up with a much better cd cover

Oh dear, time to put my head on the chopping block, but this one didn't really do it for me. Some pretty obscure references, but to me they sound a lot like Shake City and Cold Shot mixed with Contageous ('Rolling with the punches'). I have quite a few rare glam indies/demos, and to be honest this doesn't stack up against a lot of them. Don't get me wrong, this is good solid hard rock, but not really containing the killer tracks I hoped for. Good, but not great IMO. '15 gets you 20' is worthy

Very good indie this is indeed. Kind of a cross between Joker and Inside Out. Comparable to more Warrant and perhaps an early Ratt. Not the best in the production department but it is hair metal at its finest. Good stuff if you can find it. I spin it all the time. My kind of music.

Okay.....don't let the title "The Demo" fool you, this is an official privately released CD by this killer hair metal/glam band in 1991. What you get are 8, in your face tracks from this New Jersey band that sound in the vein of other familiar groups like RATT, POISON, CONTAGEOUS, LANCIA and WARRANT with some AEROSMITH INFLUENCES thrown in. Sometimes sounding laid back with some acoustic tracks thrown in, the production isn't the best, but the songs more than make up for that deficiency making this a top hair metal release.

For the record, the guitar player "Ronnie" is actually Ronnie Parkes, bass player with FarCry. \m/

Ta-Da! At last, Metalkidz... Metalboy! to the rescue! These guys are total pro's. I paid dearly for this! Just the ballad "It's Not Goodbye Forever" is worth every penny you'll most likely wind up payin' for this Ultra-Rare Holy Grail of Hair Metal! The song coulda been a hit had it hit the airwaves back in '87 but unfortunately, they guys arrived a little too late in the game to get signed. Nevertheless, this CD is so incredible, I want the white cover version, too, just for braggin' rights! p.s. Another track of note: "Hard To Get" -- an apropos title, considering just how "Hard To Get" this beaut is!

Totally agree with Metalboy: one of the best indies of all times, in the same group of Friction "Baby Talk", Rock Boulevard "s/t", Simon Says "Spin This", Romeo "s/t" and a few others...absolutely essential for any collector of the genre, only superbcatchy songs, really a must have!
