Bruce Kulick went in and put some finishing touches on these demos and the cd was released to celebrate Eric Carr's life and his massive drumming. you can tell these songs are very raw and demo's but they are nice to have. The potential Eric had on vocals are only hinted at here. The first two songs are really the stand out tracks. very KISS like but not---all at the same time.

Really good album worth getting if you're a Kiss fan. What's weird after hearing this is how can you tell me these songs aren't just as good as anything from Asylum to Hot In The Shade? Shame he didn't get more songwriting or vocals on those discs. "Nightmare" is the best thing here, melodic but heavy and he did have great vocals. Kulick's guitar work sounds so cool & raw in these demos. More "tough" than his studio work. This cd reminds you how talented Carr was.

NAHHHHH----This is pure noize. Even Eric Carr could be one of my favorite drummers of all time, if not the one above all + his singing and songwriting is ok + his period with kiss was the band greatest, this is trash. Just for those who have to have every demo or every damn kiss realted thing. I bet he could have recorded a great solo album, but this, just isn't. Long live The Fox!

NO HE OIDO ESTE DISCO PERO NO HACE FALTA OIRLO PARA DECIR QUE ESTE TIO ES UNO DE LOS MEJORES BATERIAS DE LA HISTORIA Y SI NO ESCUCHAR EL DISCO DE KISS EL CREATURES OF THE NIGHT.

From: Apoc_DOP Date: February 27, 2004 at 19:59
This is not an official KISS release. It is made up of demos that never received any finishing touches(aside from Bruce helping out). Eric wrote a lot of songs while with the band, but was always pushed aside, never to get any credit or recognition. Eric Carr was THE BEST DRUMMER in the band's history, and it's a shame that he died with so little recognition. Listen to this album the way it is meant... A tribute to a great drummer!!

From: mr. REALITY Date: March 13, 2004 at 12:43
this is utter s**t, another ploy to milk the name of ERIC CARR, for anything that can be made off his name/fame. if it had been left alone eric's name and reputation would have gone into legend status. but every week somebody is making more crap to flood the market with , only for their own pure profit. ERIC CARR would NOT have released this garbage, or any of the other garbage that is being shoved down the throats of gullable kiss fans. let the man r.i.p. STOP USING HIS DEATH AS INCOME.

From: Zinatra99gt Date: October 26, 2004 at 14:38
First off, I am a kiss fan...mostly of the eighties era. Eric Carr was one of my favorite drummers along side Frankie Banalli. Now, I now I am going to get cussed out for this, but Gene Simmons and Paul Stanely are one of my many inspirators. Gene's production on some song may not be perfect, but then again, no artist is perfect in any shape or form. This is a good album. Although I do agree with what some say about using his name as income. A lot of that is happening in other music.

From: Zinatra99gt Date: October 26, 2004 at 14:44
A lot of people do put Gene down as far as whether being a vocalist or a producer. I think he is a musical genius, along with a lot of other artists in the music industry. A lot of you may disagree with me, but to each his own. Everyone has a right to their own opinion. So in closing, I would like to say RIP to a talented rock and roller. And also to long live KISS, and Gene Simmons. As his cd goes, "Asshole".....he might be one but to me he is the best and most talented in this business. Long l

Good songs, some rawer than others but decent quality anyways...

From: Geoff Date: October 15, 2005 at 5:35
It has to be said that this is really a very poor release. On many of the songs the vocals just sound like hums to me and I cannot make out the lyrics at all. I know they're demos, but if the sound quality is that bad it hardly does anyone any favours to release them like this. There are exceptions, and 'Can you feel it' is a nice rocker and I can listen to 'Nasty boys' if forced to. The first 2 are also okay. The rest almost unlistenable.

From: headbanger4life Date: December 28, 2005 at 0:23
While I did enjoy some of the songs on this one, the sound quality is very poor. I do agree that this was just a project for his ex bandmates to cash in. I wish this could have been been done properly before he passed away. I think some of the material had very good potential.

From: rene Date: January 1, 2006 at 14:36
Not a bad release but not a must have in my opinion. I agree with HEADBANGER4LIFE.

From: wikkid76 Date: January 7, 2006 at 21:47
WTF??? Bruce put this one out in memory of Eric. Gene & Paul had nothing to do with this release... Dudes, you gotta read up on yer Kisstory!!!
