Lillian Axe trying a different, harder sound. Still a very good cd to get ahold of. Anything Lillian Axe has ever done have all been masterpieces. Still wish they would get back together and do some more cd's. I think Stevie Blaze's new band is ok, but nothing compared to the stuff he did with Axe. Ron's voice is killer on all songs, hard or soft. Lillian Axe is one of my top ten Favorite bands of all time and would recommend listening to them to anyone. |

After reading entusiastic comments about this band, I've bouht this" Fields of yesterday". "Do it" is a great song (the riff remind me a little "Up all night" from Slaughter). The other songs are good enough, but not mastepieces. Except the 2 ballads that are really good. Definitively a good band, but not between the best for my taste. I give this a 7. |

This cd contains leftover tracks and lost cuts spanning their whole career, it's more for fans than anything. Poetic Justice is the one for new commers to the band. Then buy love and war then the s/t album. Thats probably the best way to get into LA. |

Lillian Axe have a new double-live album scheduled for August 20th release on Red And Gold International Records. There will also be a tour for the new release. The new album is called "LIVE 2002." |

Al parecer es un cd con los outtakes del "love &war" y el "poetic justice" no está mal pero sus fans esperabamos algo más ,a ver si hay nuevo LP de estudio de la banda norteamericana en breve como se comenta |

The sound quality is not the ideal as the tracks here are demo recordings but Lillian's songwriting is obviously very high levelled ,always, so we can meet some killer tracks here that can easily be put on their previous releases. '. Calm Before the Storm'- Wooow!!! what a riff!!!! |

Death Valley Daze , has a openingrif that reminds me of 'someone just like you ' by bang tango Nevertheless one of the best bands ever |

"Twilight in Hell", "For Crying Out Loud, and "The Last Time" are my favorites off this disc. A little darker and more aggressive than their other albums, but still every bit as good. Lillian Axe can do no wrong! |

When i listen to this album for the first time when it came out i didnt like it at all. I put it away and two years ago i listen to it again and now i love it. Any LILLIAN AXE fan will love this album. |

I had this album for about 6 years now and i'm going to say it's my fav LAxe album. even better than the amazing poetic and the truely killer 2nd album with the fit bird on the cover. True Believer will always be my favourite song but this album just fills all the gaps for me. It seems to span their whole career and although demo quality and just love it. I think it was because of the final farewell linear notes - Nostalgic. Made it have more effect on me. "The Last Time" is playing on my ipod r |

I cant think why Z Records are re-releasing this as 're-mastered'!!! Was in not re-mastered for this release? Of course it was...the songs were taken from studio tape! Tc |

This is good, but the production sucks and it's not a real studio release, just left overs/demos. |
