GREAT ! my favourite italian release ! Stellar production, great musicianship, magic atmosphere. I met on 1988 the former of this band F. Cruciani in Pietra Ligure, where are you ? 95/100

Not much an hard rock album, few hard rock songs. This sound more like early Judas Priest. The singer has classic metal style of singing. The album is not very good and the recording very very poor. This album is very hard to find, SPARE your money to buy something else!!!

One of my favourite italian indie cds, really awesome Melodic Hard `n Heavy album in the same league as Vanadium 'Seventhheaven', X-Hero, Chainless, Florence 99 and Love Machine. Unfortunately, very hard to find, so any tip to get an original copy of this gem please email me at adboimel@uol.com.br

My friend girapolli got crazy for this band,it's really a great cd'but sorry Adriano,Chainless is not comparable to the other bands you've mentioned, too much boring and inexpressive class melodick rock IMO.You've forgotten a big Italian name here:FIREHOUSE.Wow,one of the greatest band ever heard in class melodick hard rock, now you can find the brothers Caruso in ARACHNES,if you like Rhapsody you'll appreciate these guys yet'.

In my opinion, the top five italian cds are Vanadium, Florence 99, Crossbones, Oxido and X-Hero. Firehouse is a great band too, in the same level as Love Machine, Chainless, Dhamm, Swords, Maxx Dolls, Axton and Crying Steel. I highly recommend the first five, as well the others. I am also very curious about more obscure bands like Smelly Boggs, Rebel Toys, Fil di Ferro, Redlynx. By the way, I appreciate any help to find those cds, specially this one. 8,5/10. Hey Adriano,I am Andrea, the neighbour of Purple Angels!!See every day Fabrizio Fratucelli on the pub with his beer,I think he can have some more copy of theie only megarare fantastic cd(edit on vynil since 1990,pressed on cd in the 1992).I did never hear all the bands you mentioned,Oxido I think they were from Suisse?

From: z4roxx Date: August 25, 2006 at 12:44
Fil di Ferro still play around these places, but again:Chailess is really not good sorry man!!!Crying Steel it's ok but production is right for another kind of music IMO.I can recommend from Italy Ultimatum/s.t.(1995,indie),great driven keys hard rock, unfortunately I have only my personal copy'best regards with no old disappoints between us!!!

From: adboimel Date: August 25, 2006 at 18:42
Andrea, absolutely no hard feelings my friend. I am looking for more italian unknown bands, I think Italy had a good number of great bands during the 90's, I would like to know more about these bands. I really like Chainless, an excelent album in my opinion. Vanadium, Crossbones and Florence 99 are in my top 50 favourite bands...Unfortunately this Crossbones cd doesn't have an excelent sound quality, but I am habituated with the average sound quality of some indies. It's really a nice score.

From: z4roxx Date: August 27, 2006 at 9:48
Hi Adriano,I write these few lines for you because I know you have a particular passion for Italian bands. You must have Ultimatum/s.t.(1995,self-produced,mixed at 20 Km.from where I live).totally Elektradrive's clones of'big city'album(their last studio 1993 cd,but now they're working out a new cd!).It's not at the same level as Vanadium or Elekttradrive but it's very very good, good vox ala Elio Maugeri, riffs like Vanadium and iper-melodic hooks around a great production.

I would meet as New year present the dupe who's spent 305$ on ebay for that!!!My friend has found 5 copies here in my city for few bucks.Enjoy it!!!Happy new 2007 to all rich dupes!ahahahaha

Very impressive melodic metal in the vein of some other great Italian metal bands, CRYING STEEL and LOVE MACHINE. There are even hints of RUGGERI PROJECT here.

From: KurtmanJP Date: September 27, 2008 at 18:30
Errr........adboimel, Oxido is a Swiss band, not an Italian one. Anyway, 'Fallen Angel' is an awesome opening track.
