Excellent bluesy hard rock with those unmistakably raspy vocals. Nothing earth shattering here but enough to make it a worthwhile release.

Just listened to his Undercover albums (I and II). I really like his vocal style, and, i dont know why, his solo albums sounds a bit like the lasts releases from Gleen Hughes. Excelent! He is doing an great job on songs, with lots of feeling... This album JLT i bought today, but ill only listen tomorrow. Im listening now their Undercovers again...

Actually, JLT recently teamed up w/Glenn Hughes - it's called Hughes Turner Project and it's pretty good. Getting lots of XM/Boneyard airplay.

Joe Lynn Turner back in the mid 80's put an album out..Im too lazy to look for the cassette I have of it to find the title..Anyway there is a song on it called Endlessly..Now I think that I bang my head as loud and as hard as most but this is one damn beautiful tune..natch JLT vocals dont hurt it one bit..I liked it so much that when I got married to Mrs. WidoMakr aka the ball and chain 10 years ago I had the band sing it..Natch it wasnt as good..but worth finding..Quote the WidoMakr..Never More

The album in question was the brilliant 'Rescue You' album, still probably his best release and unfortunately only released in Japan, so is a little hard too track down - well worth the effort though.

Thanks Jez...Yeah you are right (like you needed me to tell you that)..I too like the sound of the entire album...especially Endlessly...I forgot where I got the cassette from but if it was released in Japan I can understand why I have had a hard time finding a CD version in the stores...Quote the WidoMakr....Never More

Excellent blues-inspired hard rock with that familiar raspy vocal. 'In Cold Blood', 'Love Don't Live Here' and 'Blood Fire' are some of my faves, but there seems to be no filler that I need to skip over. Great stuff.

Another really good album by this amazing singer ...his solo albums are really a nuts kicker!!!...my favorite track is "Fantasize" but another goodies are the rocking opener "In Cold Blood",the rocking one "Jump Start",the nice ballad "Love Don't Live Here",the one that sounds southern influenced and with a solid chorus "Let's Go" & the Rainbowesque "Drivin' With My Eyes Closed"...a perfect choice to buy!!!.93/100
