While some people cannot abide by covers albums, I personally tend to really enjoy them. While I certainly would not say this is a personal fave of mine, mainly because I dont know a lot of the original versions, I will say that I do find it quite enjoyable.Tracks 2,7 & 8 are my personal faves! |

Not a big fan of cover albums either to be honest, but I really do think this isn't all bad. I like the choice of some of the material to start with, some interesting ideas, especially on the Police, Peter Gabriel and Pink Floyd tracks, which happen to be the best ones on here. Some don't work, U2's 'Bullet The Blue Sky' wasn't a great song to start with and just goes on and on doing absolutely nothing, except boring the pants off the listener and 'Odissea' is just crap. The Queen and Sabbath covers are ok'ish, with the Sabbath one coming off the better of the two, being pretty much a straight run through. The rest caused some heavy Skip button action, with nothing else standing out at all. So, 4 decent tracks out of 11 for me, not a complete disaster, but not that great either. |

Covers DISC - what do you expect - not bad, for die hards only who want to complete their catalogue, like myself. :-) |
