DOGS OF WAR, NO SURRENDER, greattttttttttt album. One of the best heavy metal records released in 1995. Killer songs, from the first till the last. Cool. |

KILLER METAL ALBUM . SAXON MEANS METAL AND THIS ALBUM PROVES THAT. HIGHLY ESSENTIAL . |

This is one nifty album! The title track rips. "Don't Worry" is a cool combination of a heavy riff in the verse and a sudden sing-along chorus. My favorite track here is "The Great White Buffalo", which has just an awesome atmosphere packed into it -- the chorus especially. These guys have always been talented songwriters with loads of good ideas for making quality hard rock and metal songs! I think they should be more widely recognized. |

"Dogs Of War" is a d*mn solid album.Oliver' and Quinn' sounded excellent together on it.Also thought that the songs on there were pretty strong.Unfortunately, this would be the last album with Graham' on guitar.Although,he and former "Saxon" bassist "Steve Dawson" would later go on to form "Oliver Dawson Saxon"--who i personally think sound f**king killer.A reunion with Biff' and the original members of "Saxon" would be nice, however . ---- |
