Haven't heard this one or "Keep In Touch." Are they worth getting and who do they compare to?

From: Jocke (Sweden) Date: July 25, 2003 at 6:53
Hi! I think they are worth to own, because they have some really great songs on both albums. The first one have a little less guitars than the second album.I think they sounds a bit like Haywire,Alias and Michael Morales(I hope that you have heard any of these great bands,so you know what I mean!).The singer has a really great voice, with feeling.Hope I been to some help for you TIM!

DOMINOE ROCK! I love this CD because it's like Alien's s/t from 1989 meets the first Craaft, and we all know those are classics. "Angel Don't Cry", "Satellite" and "In the Heat of the Night" are positively antemic!!! After 10 irresistable AOR tracks, Dominoe delivers a remade but faithful "Here I Am" (from "Keep in Touch") to put this OVER THE TOP! You can hear a bit of the German accent in Jeorg's voice, but don't let this deter you one bit- very classy, very well produced & instantly catchy.

From: vandervelde Date: July 25, 2003 at 16:13
Hey Koogles what about "The Key" song...i think it's real killer.... for me Dominoe is the best band i have....it's instantly catchy......melody lines are strong on every song.....it's worth every penny...one of the greatest AOR albums ever!!!!!

From: ROB GARCIA Date: July 29, 2003 at 11:47

God, i love this one!! (why is it really american band???) My fave german aor band ever! Great hooks, lot of keys, multitrack vocals, great FEELING!!! my favourite song is Lonely Nights.

From: minized Date: January 18, 2005 at 2:08
This album drives me insane it`s that good. Very catchy classic AOR. Great production. Superb harmony vocals. My favourite song is "i wanna die for you". I could sing along day and night on that one: " AND IF YOU GIVE ME YOUR HEART.....AND IF YOU GIVE ME YOUR SOUL!!! (or something like that :-) )

From: SATELLITE Date: January 18, 2005 at 3:39

From: Geoff Date: March 5, 2005 at 4:43
Very nice, after a pretty average debut. This has some great mid-tempo melodic rockers, like 'In the heat of the night' and once again 'Here I am'. I believe that regardless of the stupid title, 'I wanna die for you' is quite nice too. Good solid AOR disc.

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: March 15, 2005 at 21:03
Uff Great a Real Winner in The AOR, Hard Rock??? Pure AOR, que Joyasa Señores, un tremendo album de AOR eso si con sus toques de Hi-Tech, teclados magicos, casi en la misma linea que su anterior album pero este tiene unos puntos mas, se notan mas las guitarras, temazos como Lonely Nights, I Wanna Die For You, Angel Don't Cry, Satellite, In The Heat Of The Night, Coming Home, The Key un album completo, otra joyasa que no puede faltar en tu coleccion, IMPRESCINDIBLE Recomendado 100%.

This is as melodic as POP can be. If you're thinking Melodic-Pop-AOR, no one can do it better than Dominoe. This is a band apart. The vocals are like a Chris Norman in his twenties, the instrumentals can only be compared to the band DAYTONA (probably the best Dominoe sound-a-likes ever - also, some of the members are the same). Put this one on your want-lists and don't be fooled by anyone who says this is a crappy pop band. THIS IS NOT JUST POP. This is better. This is pure melody!

Great great cd,after many years it sound awesome thru'my ears.Top release!

From: juan carlos Date: March 1, 2007 at 0:09
Imprescindible. 9.5/10

From: Swazi Date: May 28, 2007 at 18:40
Sensational release !! Absolutely stunning !! There aren't any fillers, all songs are GREAT. But the highlight definitely is "Satellite" ! WOW, what a tune !! Get this phantastic CD or at least a copy of it ASAP ! Highly recommended.

From: YIRO Date: November 20, 2007 at 22:57

Angel Dont Cry ! What an absolute gem of a song You need the cd for this song already only

From: AORSweden Date: July 16, 2009 at 0:43
Germany's best kept secret? The best re-release ever? For me the answer is YES on both, superb record. I always try to find something negative about a record, either bad production, bad singer or some filler-songs, but I couldn't find anything. The re-release has 2 bonustracks, both equally as good as the "originals", and 5 other bonustracks (different mixes and a instrumental). My favourite songs are the fantastic opener Angel Don't Cry and the phenomenal Leisure Town (what a chorus), 2 of the best songs ever made in my opinion. The "hit song" Here I Am is actually the weakest song, which says it all...

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 26, 2010 at 19:35
With a harder sound Dominoe gave us their second release...a very good album that has some great tracks indeed even though i'd preferred their kinda high-tech AOR..."Angel Don't Cry" a solid starter, excellent song and a hit of their own a 100%,"In The Heat Of The Night" a goodie and a very good track is "Satellite" then comes what is 4 sure the band's best ballad "Keep The Fire Burning","Coming Home" oh my God how i love this track only with that killer chorus..I'm Coming Home,Yes I'm Coming Home...timeless...a highlight 4 sure,"Lonely Nights" is a 100% Bon Jovi influenced (sounds like a mix of Bad Medicine or You Give Love A Bad Name),"Leisure Town" is another acceptable track "I Wanna Die For You"(Pure AOR,a jewel)"The Key"(fantastic beat)and a strong closing (another AOR semi ballad)"Here I Am"...The Key is undoubtebly a must have along with their debut album..both different in style but both worth gold!!!.91/100

From: metalhead4life Date: June 6, 2010 at 12:04
Good melodic/catchy rock. Produced pretty well. Fave tracks 1, 2, 7, 11, and the bonus track "Into The Fire". Track 7 "Lonely Nights" mimics Bon Jovi pretty much from the late 80's. Good song. 85/100

From: Eric3 Date: June 23, 2017 at 3:11
Woo boy, is this one catchy or what? This album features extremely strong, singalong choruses, and it's funny because the voice seems cheesy to me, but the vocal melodies are so addicting it doesn't matter. "Here I Am" is obviously a classic, but also listen to "In the Heat of the Night" and "Keep The Fire Burning."

From: hair metal again Date: May 28, 2021 at 15:44
very good release for DOMINOE offering a radio friendly aor sound with a perfect production, fine musicianship and remarkable songs but not great!"angels dont cry","in the heat of the night","keep the fire burnin" and "rock noon " are the highlights of The Key!good stuff but not great

I have been melodic rock fan for many years and this cd Just make shivers running through my body. Not each song - especially In the Heat of the night and Angel dont cry. Im from Poland and I am proud of knowing such good stuff! Greetings for all fans of good rock music.
